This is the second time I am purchasing this type of lock. They do the job. Setting the code is very easy per the instructions included with the locks. These are TSA approved locks. If TSA opens your luggage with these locks on, apparently the TSA symbol embossed on the lock will pop up! I have not experienced this so far in my travels. It's a nice way to know when TSA has opened your luggage for inspection. It's good to be able to lock your luggage with some type of lock particularly for international travel and this fits the bill. Only negative is that the numbers are embossed with black border and it's kinda hard to distinguish 0 from 9 etc at night or in poor lighting. I don't have issues with sight, I don't currently wear glasses or contacts. I think improving the visibility or size of numbers would make this even a better product.

Had issue with one of the locks I ordered and their response to my question was answered promptly and on a weekend to boot. Replacement lock sent and arrived quickly. Above and beyond service IMHO.

This appears to be an ideal TSA lock. Setting the combination was easy. The shackle works smoothly. I have not yet had a chance to test the "TSA Popup Indicator" which alerts you to the fact that TSA opened the lock. And obviously I can't test the "TSA must relock before they can remove their key feature." But assuming those both work as advertised, this is pretty perfect. Now, don't get me wrong, this, like every TSA lock I've ever seen. Is not a highly secure lock. I'd be shocked if it isn't vulnerable to many of the common lock picking and shim techniques that most cheaper locks are open to. However, hopefully your bags are going to be on the belt and no one is going to have an extended amount of time to try picking this lock. Also, like most TSA locks, it's not that durable of a lock. I'm betting a decent bolt cutter will make very short work of the shackle. Again, not a problem. You're trying to make your bag not the the "lower fruit on the branch." If yours has a lock on it, someone is going to go for a different bag.
