When I see cotton tablecloths in this price range, I definitely stop and take a closer look - because it's a good deal. Turns out, this was a good choice - I love it. The brown color is almost a light taupe/gray/tan neutral that goes with a lot. The fabric itself is nice and gives off a thicker linen look that seems more expensive than it is. The white stitching detail is made from a nicer cotton thread than I expected. The white stitching thread is different from the tassel material which is a little thinner but still alright. Was a little disappointed upon receipt of this table cloth. I was to be 52x70 but measured only 50x70. The weave of the fabric was very loose and open. The tassels are very light weight and appear will not hold up in washing. It is not made to go into the dryer, as per the enclosed laundry instructions state "Do not tumble dry, gently pinch dry and lay flat to dry". This tablecloth has gray and white threading, with loop stripes and white stripes with designs running lengthwise. It has white fringes around the edges, and it is adorable. It’s thin in places, is kinda see through, and looks lighter over a white pad and darker with dark underneath. The table it is on is approximately 44” X 68”, without a leaf. That’s about the maximum width the tablecloth will accommodate, but the length should be enough to add one leaf to this table. The fold creases came right out of the tablecloth, and it looks great and has a comfortable feel. It’s new so hasn’t been washed yet, but I wouldn’t expect any issues with normal use and care. This is a beautiful high-quality tablecloth at a fabulous price! I got the blue toned one, and it is really pretty. The alternating weave gives it great visual interest and it looks very expensive. It is a nice thickness and looks great on my table. I have paid much more for tablecloths of much lower quality. The wrinkles from packing fell out easily. I can't vouch for the washability as I just received it and haven't washed it yet, but it looks as though it would hold up well. ... show more
