If you are a half size person (6.5) it is hard to judge if you should go down to a size 5 or go to a 6, or 7. I am not a 6.5 in everything so it was hard for me to judge. The media could not be loaded. It feels like I’m walking on marshmallow but they ran a bit small, I have wider feet but wear a 9 in crocs and these were just a tiny bit too small. I bought these for work. I work in a hospital for usually 12 hour shifts in which I have to be on my feet almost the entire time. I have tried different tennis shoes & Crocs! I’ve never liked how crocs looked but they are some of the only shoes I have been able to be on my feet all day with the least amount of discomfort…. However, they were wearing out, my feet were hurting at the end of my shift, even until the following day at times. A coworker told me about these & said how much she loved them because of the arch support! I had to try them out. So far so good! I’m still in the first few days of wearing them & my feet are still getting used to them but it feels like I’m stepping on marshmallows! However, like I said,THEY DO RUN SMALL. I have wider feet and I normally wear a 8.5 in tennis shoes, 9 in crocs, so I bought a 9 but they were too tight. Had to return them and get a 10 which fits perfect. ... show more

When I first put these on, I thought "oh my," these are too weird. They felt spongy, with a higher than expect arch (I'm flat-footed), and, to be honest, I felt unsteady in them. I'm a longtime Crocs wearer who wanted to try an alternative. For those who wear Crocs you know they leave you feeling firmly planted on terra firma. Not these. I felt I was on a little cloud that was alternately setting me back on my heels, or feeling the need to lean forward in a self-conscious way. That said, I'm coming to see that as a good thing. I also have neuropathy in my feet, which leaves me feeling unsteady when it's bad. These Ooofos keep me more alert to my step. They act as a kind of kinetic, therapeutic footwear that, for want of a better way of putting it, give my feet an ongoing workout. A chiropractor friend wore this odd thick-soled brand. I encountered my own Oofos sandals at the PDX airport - amazingly light weight, super comfortable, washable, and purple! I've loved them ever since. But hey, it's winter and my toes are cold so I wanted Oofos clogs. I waited so long to order; what if the clogs were too snug over my high arched feet? Finally ordered... OMG - Arch support! This is how shoes are supposed to feel - like they were made to fit my feet. And one day I was talking to my sister and she told me about a orthopedic shoe that she bought and it did wonders for her feet and I thought to myself I need that shoe. So after I was done talking to her I went on Amazon and looked for the shoe and ordered it right away. And I have to say it was the best shoe I ever bought for myself I am pain free. I'd heard a lot of good things about the Oofos brand and wanted to see if they'd help me feet. Normally I wear an 8 1/2 but with no half sizes I went to a 9... I think I should have downsized because they are big even with thick socks. Since I only wear them currently around the house I'll survive. They are like walking on a cloud & the open back is exactly what helps my foot issues. I think if I buy again I'd want to find a store that sells them to make sure I get the right size. ... show more

These things are great. They def do what they say they are gonna do and relieve pressure in my back/knees around the house. I wish they were a 1/2 size wider - socks tend to roll up when slipping them on/kinda have to toe tap to get them all the way on. Pretty comfortable for a good house shoe
