Hello! I'm 5 ft nothing and about 140 lb, currently. First, I ordered the medium and I found them quite tight but also baggy, and, as others have said, the elastic kept flipping and being a pain. I liked the shorts, so I cut out the elastic :-) After that, they were huge! I can tie them up with the drawstring, but that's a hassle and they were very baggy still. Looking at the pictures, I felt like a smaller size would fit my body better, but I knew the elastic would be way too tight. I ordered the small with the intention of cutting out the elastic, but after receiving them, I find the small actually fit me better. They are less tight in the elastic waistband and not baggy! I could snip the elastic for a little more comfort, but they actually fit really well now. I do have a very small frame, but I've been wearing about a size 10 lately. I will be returning the others as defective :-)

These shorts are great for the summer. I love the print and the fabric. They are true to size -not too much to argue when they are not fitted. I gave it 4 stars because the elastic band in the waist is loose, and it rolls inside the fabric because of the freedom it has for not being sewn in, so there you got some extra rolls around you. It is an annoyance to fix it every time, and I figure it will get worse when I wash them. Still, I love the design, the print, and the fabric. Will be wearing them a lot during the summer!

I've ordered 3 pairs of these shorts, just different colors. My gray pair I got weeks ago fit amazing & our probably my favorite shorts I own. Received blue jean ones today & they are quite smaller than the grey ones. I hope the black ones I'm waiting on will fir like the grey ones.

Bought these on a whim and I don't regret it. Amazon recommended XL, and while these fit, they also didn't because these are not fitted. I'd probably get a L next time just because of the not fitted part, which is why I gave 4 stars.

These shorts are very comfortable and the waist band is very stretchy. The material has a light linen feel. If you wear dark underwear people may be able to see them. I would suggest a skin tone matching underwear with these shorts. Overall I love these shorts and wear them all the time!
