Cute shorts, soft material. I followed the size guidelines and ordered an XXL, thinking they would fit as shown. They fit, but not the same look & too short for my liking. Size guide should be to achieve the same look, so only 4 stars. My recommendation: If you want that “slouchy” look that the model pics show, size up one-or even two-sizes. My waist is 33” and the elastic in the XXL is snug. There is also a true 360 drawstring in the waist (not just strings at the front) which would help achieve that comfy, relaxed look with a larger size.

I thought the style and cut was cute and comfortable for hanging out. The fit seems to be fairly forgiving for a variety of body types. I didn't keep them because the fabric was thicker than I expected. On the model, they gave me the appearance of something light like linen. However, it was more the weight of a hoodie or sweatpants. So if you're looking for a warmer pair of shorts, these are in that camp. They certainly will not be see through if that's of any importance. And they will likely be rather durable.
