This folding exercise mat is fantastic! It offers very good cushioning, perfect for all sorts of exercises, including practicing somersaults, forward rolls, cartwheels, etc. The bottom edges have velcro, so if you have more than one of these you can link them together to make a larger mat. If you had multiple of these connected together, I think it would even be good enough to practice judo throws. It can also be a good mat to place at the bottom of a climbing wall (a short one at least.) When folded, it makes a nice little seat, and it has carrying handles. This mat is a great beginner mat. From just plain old jumping to some light cartwheels it is soft and stays in place. The vibrant colors make it fun for them to jump from color to color. We needed a mat to fit between our door frame where my daughter does her ninja skills with her hanging bar. This is the perfect fit. It’s 6 x 2 x 1.8“ high. It’s lightweight with carrying handles and folds down. When opened there are five different colorful panels. Promoted as a pad for kids, which I’m sure it would work great for, but I’m using it in my workout area to protect the floor and to provide comfort for me while exercising and stretching. Light weight, but still decent density and support, easy to fold and unfold. Comfortable. When placed on carpet, some of the Velcro actually helps hold it in place.
