i wouldn't really even call myself an audiophile, but i am a voice actress and a singer who occasionally needs to mix and master my own music. i got this because i am too obsessed with the color pink for my own good, and being introduced to studio monitoring headphones through my work, it's become impossible for me to return to using headphones branded for "gaming" and stuff. π that being said, i think that i've truly gotten the cutest studio monitoring headphones. the pink is perfect with the rest of my pink setup. having the option to use a built in trs cord as well as your everyday audio jack is really convenient in case either of the wires decided to explode on me because there's a reason as to why i need to keep replacing my headphones. π the trc cord is longer than i thought it would be - longer than the ones that came with my previous headphones, and it's pretty thin and lightweight so it's not a hassle to grab. it seamlessly connected to my ssl2, so that makes me pretty happy! and i do have to commend the manufacturers for the comfort level because between all of the studio monitor headphones i've had, these are already the most comfortable my ears have been with headphones and i don't feel like ripping them off after multiple hours of use. for reference, i used to have the scarlett sh450 (i still miss you so bad), samson sr850, and i'm currently using the sennheiser hd 280 pro albeit it's definitely on its last life. it's been a few years since i've started using the sennheiser and honestly, abruptly switching to the oneodio was honestly a bit jarring because in comparison it definitely is more bassy. my original song sounds noticeably different on these headphones, and i can't say it's for the better. i'm probably going to have to continue using the sennheiser for mixing specifically as i do think it has more clarity and balance in comparison to the oneodio, but i can absolutely adjust to this for more casual use and i find its quality to be exceptional for the price. not to mention, it's pink. can't get much better than that. π₯° this is overall a 4.5β studio monitor headphones, at least to someone who has worked with at least 4 other headphones prior to this. it's aesthetically beautiful, and genuinely comfortable to wear. its audio quality exceeds what it's worth, and it's especially good for someone whose ears are pickier or more sensitive. that being said, audio engineers might prefer to go for more recognized industry brands like beyerdynamic, akg, and sennheiser for more accurate sounds. serves well as music listening headphones though!

I am Very Surprised by this Headphone

In our house we have a home theater but we also have a much smaller upstairs den in which we can also watch movies and listen to music. When my wife is doing something else or just doesn't want to watch the movie I have chosen, I often watch it in this upstairs den. It features a nice home theater receiver along with an inexpensive yet very good projector which sends an approximately 65" image onto a blank wall. However, when I watch upstairs, I do not want to annoy my wife (she may be talking to someone on the telephone or engaging in her beading hobby in the next room) so I generally use headphones to listen to the movie. I had a nice set of 'phones but the earpads were "going" and, while they could probably have been replaced, I find replacing earpads to be quite difficult. So, as I needed headphones only for movies, I looked for an inexpensive pair. I found these < OneOdio Wired Over Ear Headphones Hi-Res Studio Monitor & Mixing DJ Stereo Headsets with 50mm Drivers and 1/4 to 3.5mm Jack for AMP Computer Recording Podcast Keyboard Guitar Laptop - Black >. They looked pretty good and they had gotten generally good reviews so I ordered one. The night I received them I tried them with a movie (ZULU [1964], a movie I like very much). I was so impressed with the sound quality (it was MUCH better than the sound quality produced by my previous headphones) that I decided to try it with music, just to see how good it is. I played Berlioz's SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE (included on RCA Red Seal Living Stereo SACD 82876-67899-2); in this upstairs den I do not have an SACD player so I played only the CD layer of this disc. I found it hard to believe what i was hearing. The sound was positively amazing. Over the years I have heard (auditioned) some quite expensive headphones from Focal, Grado, Sennheiser, and a few others but if my "aural memory" serves me fairly well, I think I can confidently state that NONE of those expensive headphones would produce sound quality much, if any, better than what I hear from these headphones. The headphones come complete with two connecting cords and two inputs to connect them. You can see them and how they can be connected on Amazon's Product Page. I have never seen nor have I ever owned a pair of headphones which came with this extensive range of connections. They even come with a nice carrying bag. Amazon's price is absolutely amazing: currently $27.19 (I paid more but regardless - they're worth it!). Try a pair for yourself. If you don't like them, you can return them. But I'll bet that you'll NEVER return them. I'll also bet that you will be just as amazed with these headphones as I am. Obviously VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great Starter Set - Low Quality Materials

These were great while they lasted. Sound quality was awesome, relatively comfortable for the big ear cup over-ear style (which usually hurt my ears after an hour of wear), and the value was amazing at that low price. I also loved that I could plug the cord in on either side depending on how my setup was organized (work vs home mainly). Alas, I'm 5 years out and while they sound as good as ever, the pleather material on the ear cups and headband is just shredding off of them, leaving little bits in my hair and on my clothes every time I need to use them. I'm ditching them and upgrading to a higher quality brand, but I do still recommend them as a starter set to see if you like whatever hobby you're doing that requires better headphones than earbuds can provide (or if you hate earbuds like me). If you want to DJ, Stream, or play/record music, these can get you started. If your budget allows, though, I'd go with Koss or JVC or some other more well-known brand with higher quality materials. These are cheap for a reason. I wish I could give 3.5 stars, but I'm going to go ahead and go for 4. While the material held, these really were darn good.

Phenomenal value - big sound for a small price

I was skeptical. I have a pair of SONYs I have been using for many years now, 300+ dollar cans that I was replacing with this pair. I had to tune my EQ and software a bit (which is normal) and the unit sounds great. Good bass, good mids, good highs. Nothing that will blow you away, just very good. When you factor the price it's a no-brainer IMHO. These are easily competing with more expensive headphones; that is a reality. I gave the unit 5 stars, but I have some comments that may be helpful. The DJ rotating aspect is for me, a flop. I often use only one ear in order to hear everything around me, but I cannot manage to get a comfortable position with the DJ flip earpiece, I just rest the 2nd earpiece on my cheek, unfortunately. I was looking forward to this on purchase and this aspect did not work out. I changed the earcups on purchase for more comfortable wear before even trying the headphones because I wear them for extended periods. I got gel-type foam covers. Even with this lighter touch, I still feel there is a bit too much tension in the headband around the ears, if wearing these for a few hours. They are a tad too tight. They are comfortable, but there are def more comfortable cans on the market if you use earphones all day. Peace.

Durable, full of nice features and great build quality

Well I want to start off with how I was wary of my purchase on these budget studio headphones. They looked great in the photos, and the box was rather thin when they arrived. I figured I got something with poor quality drivers, and some cheap cables that attach and detach wearing out. No, I was completely wrong. They are what I would consider a small budget studio producer's go-to when their favorite pair of studio headphones quit working. Yes, the box is a little thin, but the included cables are amazing. The carrying bag is also a nice touch. The drivers I thought would be a little muddy under certain frequencies, but to my surprise they respond very well during music production and have a decent overall listening experience with not just music, but movies and games as well. They're very durable and have a little bit of weight to them, but they're very comfortable and easy to use. The swivel feature is always a nice touch for a studio headset. I'm definitely impressed with the overall quality and experience I receive using them day to day. They're definitely worth trying out for anyone on a tight budget!

UPDATE - Poor durability!

UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer and they have agreed to replace my headphones!!! They responded to my concerns immediately and were quick in rectifying the problem after I answered a few questions. This is the fastest I have ever had an online retailer respond to a concern. Thank you OneOdio. I will keep you updated on the durability of the new pair. ββββββββββββββββββββββ I retired and started taking piano lessons at the senior center. I purchased an inexpensive keyboard to play at home and I got these headphones so I would not disturb my family while I was learning. These worked great for what I needed them for, however last week I picked them up to practice and the hinge on the left side just fell off. There was no warning that the hinge was damaged, it swiveled normally, and I had not dropped them. These just broke from normal use in 7 MONTHS!!! These were not top of the line studio quality headphones, but I did have an expectation that if I took care of them, which I did, they would last longer. I would not recommend these simply due to lack of durability. Note: I used duct tape to hold them together until I was able to get a new pair.

Major Upgrade for me!!!

I haven't updated my headphones in a while and needed to do so for work. WFH having high standards of sound quality are of the utmost importance. These are perfect for that and more. π Very comfortable. The sound quality is amazing. π Love the design. It came with two different cords. one that I can use with my mic, or for producing equipment. The other I can just plug and play with my laptop. Size wise these look huge on me but I don't care. They are so comfortable. Plus, you would think because of the size that they would be heavy but they actually are lightweight. I did some research after settling on these and so glad I did. One more thing, another big plus, they are budget friendly. The seller has these packaged so nice. Everything is of high quality. Shipping was fast πβοΈ πβοΈπβοΈ Couldn't be happier.
