This was the perfect addition to my living room corner. It makes a huge statement yet doesn’t make the room feel smaller. It took some time to put together and the directions are not the easiest to follow but I found looking at it from a “common sense” perspective once I got it going was a better approach than trying to follow the directions. My skill level and strength are probably “average” and I did most of it myself. I had another person give me a hand toward the end because it was easier but could have probably done it alone. There are 3 configurations, I opted for one of the corner options. It was the perfect size for me to decrease the footprint of my crafting storage and actually get more of my crafting materials into that footprint in a more accessible fashion so I can make better use of what I have. I'm very pleased with it's capacity to size ratio, and the price was a decent deal on a sale day. That being said, my ONE issue with it is that securing the shelf parts into the L shape was a highly over-engineered part of the construction. It could have been done with just some pilot holes and wooden pegs, it definitely DID NOT need to be a double ended turn lock. And it's not quite flush, which is a mild annoyance to my sense of symmetrical aesthetics. All in all, it's a good, adaptable shelf, plenty durable once it's constructed, just go carefully and patiently if you do the L shape. ... show more

This shelf is amazing. It’s the perfect size for my apartment. Holds all kinds of stuff. You can set it up three different ways so it will pretty much fit any space you want it to. Instructions were easy to read, and very easy to assemble.

Take your time and this is easy to install - it took me about an hour or so to put together. What made it easy is everything is labeled with numbers and letters, including the bags of fasteners (each type comes in it's own zip-lock bag). I also like the fact that each packet of fasteners included one or two extras (in case you drop one and it disappears I'll guess :) Beware that some fasteners are not required for all builds (it can be assembled into three configurations). ... show more

Purchased these for our specimen collection, and we couldn’t be more happy. I searched for months to find corner shelves that could go on opposite sides. Just when I was about to give up, I found these. These give you the ability to put them in the right corner, left corner and straight across. You can also just use the center shelves for smaller areas. Instructions couldn’t have been easier to follow and we are extremely pleased with the finish product. I accidentally ordered three units instead of just the two and Customer Service was understanding, quick respond, and very helpful when resolving my issue. I have looked all over for a bookshelf that would be good to display my Lego's on. When I saw this bookshelf I thought it would be perfect. As soon as I got it I tried to put it together, but it would no connect. The bars that were included were not long enough to reach both connecters in the boards. I tried doing them one at a time, tried turn them half each, everyway you could imagine to get them to connect and they wouldn't connect. I have put lots of furniture together for myself or my children through the years using these same type of connectors and never had any issues. I boxed it back up and requested a refund. They told me they needed to see pictures before they could do anything. It was frustrating since I had already boxed it up, but I went ahead and took the pieces out and took pictures for them showing how the connectors didn't fit. Instead of seeing this and giving me a return label as their ad says, "This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt", they have continued to send me messages telling me to try different things. We have done this 4 different times now, and they still refuse to give us a refund. As much as I hate to, I am going to have to report them to Amazon since they refuse to back their warranty. My advice is, there are other sellers that have this type of bookshelf for sale and I would recommend you purchase from one of them. ... show more
