I purchased these after a friend mentioned dowsing to me, it sounded a little silly but I was intrigued and took to searching Amazon to find a pair. I chose these rods because they looked to be the best quality, and the price was very fair. When I received them I was excited and set up a couple tests, first I had my daughter hide my car keys in a random place in the house that I didn’t know about, and then held the rods as instructed, they would point in a direction and I would walk that way, and then they’d point somewhere else and I would keep following. Within a couple of minutes I found my keys at the bottom of our hamper, underneath the clothes. I was absolutely shocked at how accurate they are, and I owe an apology to my friend for doubting her. I’ll be taking these to a relative's grave next week and attempt to make contact, I’m very excited and hope to be able to get some closure. ... show more

These are smaller than normal dowsing rods and kind of cute so I bought them. They are good quality. I can't attest to accuracy because for the most part I just use these as entertainment when I take them ghost hunting with me. I can't attest to the fact I'm speaking to a spirit or somehow moving the rods with the slightest movement of my own hand so I won't speak to that. However, if you want something that provides a little entertainment and could, hypothetically speaking, be easy for a spirit to manipulate, these are worth the try. I took them to the Cheney Mansion in Illinois. Great place to go for a ghost hunt - highly recommend. (Picture attached) ... show more

I'm not sure what all these spirit type people are talking about, but these will locate water, sewer, steel, or even electrical lines if you know how to do it. I have done utility locating for years and some survey work and this has helped me from time to time when I get stumped by my expensive equipment. ... show more

Excellent inexpensive safety took to have on hand before digging I keep a pair of these on hand as a civil engineer and they work great to double check worksites for underground lines that utility locators may have missed. We use other supporting tools as well, but these are super quick to use and if they hit anywhere we make sure to check it before breaking ground, they are surprisingly accurate for such a simple tool. ... show more

    • Coming for ya, ghosts!
Fun! I grew up with my mom often waving these around the house to look for things, so thought it would be great fun to watch my kids seek out energy fields around the house...and they did not disappoint. I got to watch a 5 and 7 year old take turns hiding random items and searching for them. After a while the dowsing rods became alien antenna, and at some point during the night I'm quite sure they became helicopter blades spinning around over their head...maybe the ghosts had run for cover at that point. After an hour or so, the rods were in perfect shape and ready for adventure on another day. Great that they're made in the USA, and I found the included instructions and history a very nice tough.     • A good tool to use in my spirit sessions, but...
IF YOU'RE ALLOWING YOUR KIDS TO PLAY WITH THESE, PLEASE READ! Dowsing rods are in fact used as a tool for communicating with the "other side", so regardless if this is your intention or not, please let your INTENT be known upon using these so that you can make it clear if you are or are not attempting to make contact with any spirits or entities of any kind. Also make sure to cleanse the energy from your rods often by using the moonlight or incense. And ALWAYS use with caution, & complete respect towards any and all spirits you may come in contact with!!! -My review- These are much smaller than anticipated, but that isn't such a bad thing since these are perfect for on the go. Just be very cautious not to bend the rods as they are quite thin. If you're into ITC research (Paranormal), I suggest that you do not use the same research or communication tools at home that have been used out in the field. This is for energetic & connection purposes. I am a spiritual medium, not a "ghost hunter". Majority of the time the spirits come to me at my own home in search of help, other times I am drawn to certain locations that may require me to travel with my tools. All in all...these are alright, just wish the rods themselves were a bit thicker. However, the wooden handles were a great idea. I do suggest rounding out the bottom of the wood a bit since the rods tend to get stuck in the process of swaying.
