    • Great value, and can be used as part of a home-audio subwoofer-sharing solution
These are great value for the money. They are intended for use in a car -- but I bought them to use one for my home sound system. What I needed was a way to share my subwoofer between two amplifiers - one supporting my video set-up (with its own main speakers) and one supporting my record deck & CD player on the other side of the room (with its own set of main speakers). The second amp had no line output for a subwoofer; and I didn't anyway want to run a line-output cable around the room because of the risk of picking up interference. So I took the speaker output from that amp, ran it to the TV set-up where the subwoofer was located, and used the left and right inputs of this impedance convertor to mix the speaker-level outputs from the two amps. The level adjustment screws on the convertor allowed me to balance the signal levels from the two amps to get the subwoofer volume right for the two set-ups (TV and audio). Clearly not what this product was intended for, but a perfect solution for avoiding having to have two subwoofers in the room. ... show more

I got these to convert My single low level output android radio to a double RCA Out. I like that you can adjust the output levels individually, as I used the second one for My sub, essentially creating a 5th RCA out. They're pretty stout! Their housing is thick, and won't easily get broken if you jam it up under the dash. My only complaint is that the wires are incredibly thin and sparse. As you can see in My photo, when twisted up, it's a very slim conductor. The Android radios are not known for exactly including "Super Conductors", and believe me when I say that these are about half the strand count of the ones on the radio harness. This does not seem to affect the signal, but it definitely made me want to reinforce the solder joing between the two. Don't even think about doing a butt splice. I don't like them anyway, but just for kicks, I tried the smallest one in My kit, and it just pulled right off. Either use a Wago lever lock connector, or solder it. These allowed me to run 2 nice long shielded RCA cables to the back of the vehicle, and use the more solid connections on the amp. They were noise-free which was nice... My radio had a bit of a whine, but I nailed it! These deliver a nice hot signal to the amp which makes the amp very happy! It told me so by rocking out! Mission accomplished! This is a much cleaner option than simply running a bunch of wires to the high-in on the amp. ... show more

Used these to convert the speaker signal from my rear deck speakers to RCA for use in my trunk subwoofer amplifier. Worked like a charm! I've used much more expensive versions of these in the past, and these work just as well. Can't beat the price for this value.
