So far so good! used them to hold a vine on the trunk of a tree that it was falling off despite trying every gentle way to get it to stay on. The tree is old and strong, only having its outermost layer penetrated easily and not hurt buy it, however these go in with ease. They do have a tendency to turn sideways at times though.
