I’m a fan of boleros especially for summer dresses. I especially like this bolero because it isn’t your typical cotton bolero, but the 92% viscose material makes this more of a dressier bolero. I would feel very comfortable wearing this to work or a special event. In fact, I bought this for an evening reception dinner. Because of the nicer material, I would recommend pairing this bolero with a nicer dress or blouse if that is your intent. This would not go well with some cheap cotton dress from Walmart, but it would go well with a cocktail dress from Macy’s. I ended up purchasing a second one because I haven’t found a nice quality bolero since ~10 years ago from Dress Barn. I’m glad I came across these, bought two and will keep them in my closet for those nice events that need a light bolero. Fits true to the size.

I really should know better by now. The pretty lady in the picture has a petite little figure and a small bust to go with it. It's beautiful. It's enviable. It's not me! I fall for the trap of bolero sweaters at least once a year, thinking that I can get away with them...but I can't. We of the dramatic hourglass figures somehow look ridiculous in bolero sweaters and jackets. They look amazing on women with smaller figures! But the second I put on this pretty, soft sweater, I knew I was kidding myself. I sent it back to the sender with a sad farewell and a firm reminder to myself, "no more boleros!" you know, until next year's delusion!

I may have a long torso, because the sweater hits closer to my waist than where it does in the picture. Could also be the size I suppose. Regardless, it's a nice cardigan. Stretchy enough to not be too tight, but form fitting. If you prefer your cardigans looser, maybe size up one size.
