I never write reviews but I felt it worth mentioning for those deciding if they should buy this. The bag is actually waterproof when snapped shut. I opted for the 30L bag to have the backpack straps and a larger bag and I'm glad I did, the bag can get quite heavy and having the single strap would have made it more difficult to carry everything that fit into the bag. I flipped my kayak twice with the bag strapped onto the kayak and everything stayed dry inside both times. Definitely worth buying.

We took this bag on a trip to Mexico hoping it would keep all of our valuables dry on a boat excursion. All our stuff was completely dry by the end. This review is just to compare the 10L and 20L sizes. Photo shows my things packed perfectly in the 10L bag. There was still room on top if I needed to add a couple items of clothing. The 20L is a little wider, not by much but you could fit a lot more on top. The photos with them closed is the top rolled down 3x. You could roll them down a couple more times if you needed either slightly more compact. I decided on the 10L bag with 1 strap for my river rafting/tubing trip. It’s perfect for my needs and for reference I’m 5’2”.

I bought this for canoeing and kayaking leisure trips. On 2 trips it has been great. A tip over on one trip with bag floating on its own and not an ounce of water inside. The back straps are lower quality and may not last over the long haul. Still see getting years of service from them. Highly recommended for leisure or step above use.
