This product really works to relieve my dog's itchy skin. I have tried various products and this is the only one that I can actually see results. He doesn't scratch constantly! His coat is very soft and shiny. I've got many compliments on how healthy and shiny his fur is. Finally he has some relief from his allergies. My older Pom has had issues with dry skin flaking for a while now. I’ve tried several products with minimal results. This product was recommended by a friend and just WOW! After only a week, I noticed some improvement, and now only 90 days after starting her on these, her dry skin and flaking has completely disappeared. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd bottle I've purchased. It's been about 3 months since starting our Beagle on these, and there has been a huge change in her skin and coat. She was constantly scratching, her skin had a lot of irritation, and she had a bald spot she licked constantly. After 2-3 weeks we noticed that the scratching had decreased significantly. It has continued to decrease to maybe 5% of what it was. For us, that is a miracle. She's happier. We're happier. Her skin looks so much healthier. It is much smoother than it was. Her fur has grown back and looks great. As far as the vitamin, she ate it right away. It looks like a dog vitamin, doesn't smell particularly offensive, like some of them do, and she loves it like a regular treat. At 11 years old, and knowing her preferences, I was pleasantly surprised by this. Recently we started our Basset Hound on these as well. She loves the taste of them also. She doesn't have many skin problems, other than occasional dry skin dry, and massive amounts of shedding. Now, her skin looks great. The dry skin has cleared up completely. Her shedding has decreased minimally. Not sure how effective this is at reducing shedding though. Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I'm on the frugal side, which is why I started only the Beagle on it initially. I still feel like it is rather expensive, hence the 4 star rating, (along with the shedding). But I will continue to spend the money as long as my dogs continue to get relief.

So my elderly Karelian Bear Dog was Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and it made her fur very dry and frail and you could be able to pinch a chunk of hair off her . I tried 3 different “high end brands” of omega 3’s to try to soften up her fur and get rid of her dandruff . I did get her a special shampoo and her Levothroid medication to try to soften her up and help but I just wanted that extra umph for her fur. Nothing was helping and I told myself this was my last try buying coco and Luna before I gave up. Let me tell you how life changing these are ! First they’re not just a pill like the other omega 3’s ! They are in treat form which my dog loved so much and in exactly one month she stopped shedding completely and her fur softened up so much . Her fur color came back to life and it wasn’t looking all dull . It made her fur look so shiny !! And her calluses on her elbow healed also ! They used to crack and bleed . This is truly something I will buy for life for as long as I have dogs . Thank you for helping save my dog

Not sure of pills effect yet. Also I didn't realize I was paying $19.90 per bottle. The dogs do like the taste, no problem eating them like s treat. My 70 lb dog needs 3 pills and the 90 lb dog needs 4 pills, so they won't go as far as I expected. I also don't know where to go to check on my subscription details.

I make my own dog food and this supplement is super easy to add to my dog's food. It dies have a fishy smell, but when added to her food there's no fishy breath. No messy oils, no measuring just a simple tablet.

I have ordered two bottles of this for my 60lb Labradoodle. She started to get a little flank alopecia (as she had in the past). Our Vet said to try an Omega 3-6-9 vitamin for her coat. My concern was that our dog would not like the taste or consistency of a fish oil type of product.......but she loved it! We started to notice that the alopecia started to get under control in about three weeks (meaning it did not get any worse). In addition to the Omega 3-6-9 we are also giving her a 5mg tab of melatonin two times a day as well. Her coat seems much better and she has no problem taking the Omega or Melatonin with her food. We will continue to buy the VitaPet Omega 3-6-9 for her on a regular basis. Good product and responsive company to work with. UPDATE 5-28-2019 We have been using this Omega for a few months now and our dog's coat is doing GREAT! She likes the taste of the tablet and even looks for it as a treat before her food. We would recommend this for your dogs coat as it has made significant improvements in ours.
