This is an excellent addition to my home gym. I've avoided the gym ever since COVID started because of occupancy constraints and I really didn't want to take the chance. The curl bar has been the most useful addition to my home gym; it allows me to do additional training that a conventional barbell would be too cumbersome for due to the longer length. The bar is of high quality, with great knurling for perfect grip. Knurling isn't very harsh, but it does help to avoid slippage. So far, the bearings on the weight sleeves are working well. It spins easily, but with some resistance, so it doesn't spin endlessly. I am quite pleased with my buy and I would recommend this curl bar for anyone who wants to work on their biceps! ... show more

Overall the bar functions as expected. The finish seems to be well applied and the bearings in the bar ends appear to work smoothly. The only complaint that I have is that the bar end “stops” (where you load the plates as far as they will go toward center) are not a smooth 90 degrees. This prevents the weights from being flush against the stops so you need to apply extra pressure when applying clips to hold the weights in place or they will wobble. ... show more
