I never write reviews. This is actually my first one and I purchase hundreds of items a month on Amazon. I am an Olive Oil lover. I have tried up to $200 bottles in the past. The way you can tell a high quality oil is if you try a teaspoon and it burns your throat. That is the high EVOO level in it. The natural phenolic compound oleocanthal. This stuff has the lightest, crispest, taste. It's delicious. Not overpowering and not heavy. To be able to get a polyphenol count over 700 for a 750 ml bottle, is pretty amazing for this quality. Definitely the best value on Amazon. The seller SHOULD list the size in the title though so people aren't searching for it.

This olive oil is from a particular type of olive tree that has superb health benefits. I buy this brand because I am recovering from breast cancer and it tastes wonderful and is packed with health promoting nutrients. It has been part of my diet protocol for over 3 years after I was first diagnosed with cancer and I feel great. The taste, because of the species of olive tree it comes from, is so rich and flavorful. So many olive oils are blended, but this brand olive oil comes from just one species of olive tree. I cannot praise it's taste and health benefits enough.

It says 786mg per kg but it just taste too smooth for me to beleive it. Taste good but just dont have the burn and peppery finish of other high poly oils i've tasted. Overall though it is reasonably priced and is definately a high quality oil, no question about it, just not sure if it's as high as they claim.

My Olive oil tin came in a soft bubble package. Upon opening the olive oil can looked like it had been in a football game and it was the ball. Beat to snot although it wasn't leaking. Hardly presentable on ones countertop. I have another favorite that I prefer over this brand. The oil doesn't pack the throat burn that I'm use to. I'll just buy more of my favorite brand now. Not an A but I'll give this oil a B- maybe even a C.

The media could not be loaded. It saddens me to have to write this review, but I must tell the truth - this olive oil actually taste like mineral oil, and robust-regret. What you are purchasing is stellar advertising and at an enticing price point. There is an unfamiliar and unpleasant after-taste, the best way I can describe it is like years old expired "sunflower oil" in the pantry that was forgotten and one day you decided to use it. I do NOT recommend this olive oil for salads, dipping breads, or mixing for pesto; this is suitable only for cooking in my opinion. I've been fortunate enough to travel to Greece many times over the years, and this olive oil is unacceptable by their serving standards - everyone should be skeptical of their award claims and documentation due to the quality of tasting "Olympian MYTH", again I'm sorry but I hope my review saves someone time and money. The Olive Oil tin container was dented when I opened the Amazon shipping box however the dent doesn't not affect the taste or quality. Please note: this Olive Oil is not returnable or refundable and you should take this review/my experience as proper consideration before purchasing... I've attached photos and a video above for your viewing experience.
