I wanted to like this particular toolbox. It is fairly inexpensive but there are reasons for that. The gaps are inconsistent on the flip up top and the paint is ROUGH. Paint runs are plentiful on this box. I will make do with it because it is just extra storage for some of my tools. It is not my main box and it was fairly inexpensive so I can deal with the problems. However, I would not overpay for this box due to the issues listed above. It’s just okay. If you want a nice box, look elsewhere. If you want a cheap-ish box to throw some tools in, you will be satisfied at the right price. ... show more

    • Sturdy product but with a drawer glitch?

Very sturdy and solid. One small glitch is that the drawers would not open once I took the chest out of the box, and the key would only seem to unlock the top section. I called the manufacturer for assistance and they were stumped. It took me a while to figure out that you have to pull VERY hard on the drawers to get them to open, and then you have to push them in VERY hard to get them to close. There seems to be an extra "click" when you do this, and I am wondering if this is a child safety feature that is intended to make it harder to open the drawers when they are unlocked. I called the manufacturer back to inquire about this and haven't heard back. But if that is the case, the instruction manual should say that. ... show more

    • Nice toolbox but the casters are not good

This is a decent box, I like it, but the casters are junk, they don't swivel properly. I had to buy a replacement set for about $30. FYI, the center to center hole specs for the casters are 1.75 inches and 3 inches. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. 7.5 out 10 just because of the lock wouldn't turn over to lock and the gap and play in between the chest, hopefully some wd40 can help with the lock if not think i might have to change it out besides that it works and feels like a tool box
