I’m writing this review to salute the unsung durability of these Olukai flip flops. This summer, I decided to channel my inner DIY enthusiast and build a 140-ft fence. This involved digging eleven 36-inch-deep post holes. Naturally, the logical choice for such a task would be sturdy work boots, but I thought, “Why not test the limits of human stubbornness and footwear engineering?” So, I strapped on these sandals and grabbed my shovel like the world’s least-prepared landscaper. Let me tell you, these sandals are warriors. They took on Georgia’s unyielding, sun-baked clay like it owed them money. The grip was solid, the comfort unmatched, and not once did they scream, “Stop this madness!” I thought I’d cave and switch to boots after the first hole, but nope—these flip flops wanted to see the job through. And now? The fence stands tall, and these sandals are still kicking (pun intended). As a bonus, they’re also ridiculously good-looking, so you can go straight from a backyard excavation to a casual dinner date without missing a beat. Would I recommend them for digging post holes? Possibly the greatest pair of flip flops available to all of mankind! Seriously, these are very comfy and they actually stay right where you want them when you walk! No sideways movement or rubbing between the toe. I’m a true US 11 Medium and the fit is perfect. They might feel just a hair tight when they are brand new, but just walk around a little and they will break right in. ... show more

This is by far the best flip flop I ever owed I cant think of of a better shoe with this much support and comfort . Right out of the box it put them on and it was like made for my foot . The quality fit and finish top notch. I dont know what people on here are talking about breaking in period because I cant believe they can actually get better. OLUKAI Ulele Men's Beach Sandals are the most comfortable men's sandals I have found. I love the fantastic, luxurious feel with every step. They feel like you are walking on a cloud! So many colors to choose, pick your favorite & you will never look back!

Ok, every now and again a product blows me out of the water and these expensive flip flops, so far, have been the best purchase I have made in quite some time! First, Instant great feel from the first time I slipped my foot in and walk around. Love the arch support and material used. I received them last night and have not taken them off since! They are light, well cushioned, and have what feels like a great sole for non slip but haven't tested them out yet around pool/water. Very similar to Sperry's so I have high faith they should live up to their word. The strap over the top of the foot and between your toes feels extremely comfortable too. They are true to size too so if you are 1/2 size, go up to next full size. The only thing I worry about at the moment is that I have a little bit of a sweaty foot so I hope that doesn't cause slippage between my foot and the flip flop, and I believe that they cushion that touch your feet is not that breathable and causes some extra sweating. Will report back after I continue to wear as I can't take them off right now. But overall, this is a REAL review by a REAL user of this product. ... show more
