I wear a womens 7.5 or 8 medium width and the men's 7 worked fine for me. Very comfortable and the foot bed is comfortable and not squishy. I lean toward a harder footbed with some arch support and these are perfect. Too much cushion is counter productive to balance and ends up putting stress on joints and ligaments for me - like walking on a trampoline:) I also can't wear another hiking sandal because the arch is too high. Olukai, Please make hiking sandals! I have women's Olukai and Uppena is a favorite. Some have mentioned toe rubbing, etc. I keep the strap loose and have no problems walking or with rubbing. I'm used to wearing clogs and don't need a tight strap. Really good if you have some weight on you and may have flat feet. I bought them when I was weighting over 300 pounds and I have flat feet, these sandals have given me the support I needed in the arch of my feet. I bought two pairs because i dont want them to get too wet.

I have had foot issues for awhile, so comfort and support were my main concerns. I lked them enough I brought 4 Ohana styles and color. I wear a pair each day around the house or out and about, no complaints with any I've selected. Tried some of the others like Rainbow which takes forever to break in, or Sperry which were good jus limited selections. The cost of the Olukai to me have been worth it. ... show more

No half sizes, they recommend going smaller size. I ware 11.5 received 11 taken several days to break in. Due to being a little snug. I'm a big fan of OluKai, so I'm being patient and hoping for the best. Definitely not as comfortable as my Ohanas.
