The best shoes. I got these in a rush the day before a trip to Italy, with a mix of big cities and small beach town. These shoes were perfect for both. I brought an old pair of (well loved) Olukai flip flops as well but they were only good on the actual beach. I brought some puma sneakers for walking around Pompeii and Rome, and never took them from my bag. 1 week of 15-20k steps/day and these have been absolutely perfect. Comfortable, and fitting in with the style of Italy. (Although, they also wear sneakers 95% of the time.. I didn’t know that) I’ll wear these everywhere. You can dress them up or down. Super happy. These are my new go to shoes. I’ve always worn vans slip ons (size 10.5) and these are just so much classier that what vans has out right now. I wear vans to bank meetings and work and I kinda feel like I’m underdressed. These will be the coolest shoes at my next bank event. I ordered a 10.5 and they are a tiny bit big for my usually 10.5 feet.. but I’m not wearing socks, so… hard to say. I think even with socks, I should have ordered 1/2 size down from normal. I’ve owned many Olukai sandals but never any shoes. Ordered the ash color. Right out of the box was I was impressed. Very sharp looking. The fit is perfect. Not too narrow, not too wide. I got 10.5. I order size 11 in the sandals and order size 11 in any other shoe usually. Comfortable but I’m sure they’ll be very comfortable once the leather breaks in a bit. Very happy. Only 4 stars because I feel they’re a bit over priced but I don’t regret buying. ... show more

This is my second pair of Lae'ahi Lauhalas. Look great and are comfortable! First pair was a 10M and just a tad too large, was a little too wide and heel slipped a bit. My foot is 11" long and 4.5" wide; I wear a 10D boot, 10.5C and 10D dress shoe, 10.5 Vasque, Salmon hiking boots and size 11 Merrill hiking boot. Ordered Lae'ahi Lauhala in size 9.5 this time and they fit perfectly! I have had the first pair for over a year now and over time noticed the same problem with foot odor mentioned by other reviewers. A little foot powder and the odor goes away. It's been below freezing here since my second pair arrived -- so, too early to tell about foot door. I have not had any issue with durability as noted by some other reviewers. The first pair look brand new. But I do NOT wear mine a lot; primarily around the house and while driving. So not a real test of durability, i.e not on the beach, hiking over lava, backpacking (though I'm not understanding how users would expect this lightweight shoe to stand up to those conditions!) Would highly recommend this shoe for lightweight use (i.e. not 24/7 trail use!) ... show more

Just received and these shoes are definitely not new … down to scuffs, dirt / rocks in the tread and a piece of hair and grass in the shoes. For almost $180 with tax, I will definitely be returning. I understand people return items, but these should not have made it pass quality control 🫠
