I opted for electronic adhesive strips for resecuring the new screen and I moved over the fingerprint reader from the original screen. The screen it works good , doesn't have a finger support but it's cool anyways . Tip : if your screen isn't displaying , just push the turn on button by 20 seconds and the Google logo will come in and remember to have the phone complete charge. [This helped me to whe I was doing the replacement]

    • Order a T5 Torx Driver at the same time just in case.
Look, you get what you paid for. Be advised the factory replacement is around $200, so this one is not quite the same quality. I just needed something that would allow me to get back into my phone to get some final files out. I might use the camera and run a few other apps. Watch the video in the images above. I think the dude does a pretty good job of demonstrating how to do it. heating the glue before you remove things is paramount... especially the fingerprint scanner. As was mentioned in another post, 3 different driver tools were included. None were the T5 Torx that is required to separate the screen from the other half of the phone.     • Quick to fail, low quality
I have bought more than 1 screen and all have failed within a few days. One cracked while in my OtterBox while I was texting (the tempered glass screen protector didn't crack. The screen cracked under it) and the other would delay turning on by 2 minutes after using it for an hour. Low quality screen replacements and it's very frustrating. I've changed a lot of screens on different tablets and phones and this is the first time I've had so many problems. ... show more
