Everything is working great so far. I was able to transfer the finger print sensor and is working as designed. The screen resolution isnt like the original but it is fine for me. You'll get used to it. The torx driver that came with the package might not work. Just be aware of that. And also you need to buy the glue separately. Easy to install, but the screen feels thinner and cracks easily (mine cracked after about 2 weeks with a full protective case). The color is good, as well as the sensitivity. However it kills the battery life. Original screen: battery would easily last a day or more with standard use, Replacement screen: battery dies after no more than 18 hours (even with zero usage) ... show more

    • Quick to fail, low quality
I have bought more than 1 screen and all have failed within a few days. One cracked while in my OtterBox while I was texting (the tempered glass screen protector didn't crack. The screen cracked under it) and the other would delay turning on by 2 minutes after using it for an hour. Low quality screen replacements and it's very frustrating.     • It works but don't expect the same quality as OE
The installation didn't start off good since, as someone else mentioned in the reviews, they included the wrong size torx driver to remove the bracket that secures the connector to the phone. The fitment was perfect, however, and the included double-sided adhesive tape was more than adequate. Upon starting the device after the installation, I got the dreaded black screen of death. The boot up screen with Google logo appeared, but once the boot up sequence was complete, the screen was black. It still made the vibration from haptic input and sound. I was able to restart the device by holding the Power and Volume Up button for 20 seconds, and that temporarily fixed the no display issue, but after turning the screen on and off a few times the issue resurfaced. I was able to replicate this issue consistently, and was about to give up and get a new phone until I noticed, during one time I turned the screen on, the phone's resolution and aspect ratio messed up. I then remembered I had changed the screen resolution from "Full" (1440x3120) to "High" (1080x2340) in the Display settings, so I changed it back to Full and the problem hasn't come back. BSOD on Pixel devices is something Google is aware of since Pixel 5, and we are now at Pixel 8 and they still haven't fixed the issue yet. I never had the BSOD issue with my OE phone, and for it to happen after I installed the aftermarket screen probably means the problem is both hardware- and software-related. Image quality. Everything looks sharp. The biggest issue I can see is the fact the color balance is off, with (barely) noticeable green tint compared to the original screen. The screen is usable, but you can definitely notice the color balance is somewhat off. The touchscreen works fine. No dead spots on the one I got. Fingerprint scanner is another matter. Even after going through the installation of the fingerprint scanner driver from Google, the fingerprint option just doesn't work.     • Works good but no fingerprint sensor (can't migrate the old sensor to new screen either)
Screen looks better than a cracked screen. Not quite the display quality of the original screen. Easy to install and it does at least work. Don't expect the fingerprint sensor to work with this screen. Moving the old finger sensor to the new screen but doesn't fix the sensor. Not a bad screen but a little on the expensive side without fingerprint scanner. Mine came with a green line from top to bottom. Item was replaced easily. Overall I would recommend unless you use fingerprint. ... show more

    • Vertical light lines on EVERY REPAIR with this kit! I never have this issue with other kits!
I've ordered 3 of the pixel 6 pro and 4 of the pixel 7 pro kits and ALL of them have had vertical lines of light on the screens! At 1st, I assumed I was the problem (user error). So I've ordered kits that I know are made by a different manufacturer and those repairs have been perfect-no lines. Today, I repaired 2 Pixel 7 Pros: A: different kit B: this kit: Phone A is perfect, Phone B has vertical lines that make the screen completely unusable. I use high quality tools, i experience and patience with smartphone repairs, and after buying 7 of these screens and EVERY ONE of these kits have had vertical lines--no matter how gentle and careful I work. I have NEVER had this problem with other kits! Seriously, this upsets me because I spent so much time believing I was the problem--only to reevaluate myself and the kits - this set me back a LOT.
