This is my second pair of Old West boots. The first pair Black Cherry turned out to be Red. Not a fan but they fit well for a 9.5 wide foot. I shined them up with Black Lincoln wax and they turned into a nice Oxblood with a developing mirror shine a go-to anywhere boot from dirt to dance floor. This second pair with a suede finish had the same no break-in fit and a nice darkish brown color. Sprayed them with. Tarrago Nano Silicone waterproof protective spray and now I have a great everyday casual boot that looks great and should last long. Both Old West boots are well made, comfortable, quality boots for a affordable price. I like everything about them and they can be resoled a long way down the road but, they’ve earned my business when looking for a new pair of boots.

On my 2nd pair over a period of 7 years. Getting ready to order another pair as they are not very pretty anymore. I wore them out because I live in them. I'm a Boot guy! I really love these Boots and the price. Look and fit just like Justin Ropers at half the price! I wear them every day and I highly recommend these!!! Buy these Boots, you won't regret it!!! The boots themselves were great. Good quality for the price. They are very narrow. I know I have wider feet, but I have never had to get a wide before. I could not even get them on. I ordered a 9M, I would have totally kept them, if it weren't for that. I know that they need broken in, but again, these were just too narrow to even think about trying to make work. I did try to order a wider size, but unfortunately they weren't available - so I had to go with a different brand. Returning them was easy- literally had them out the door within 24 of receiving them. New ones are on the way, fingers crossed.

The color is not as dark as it looks in the picture. The box was totally damaged, ripped and mutilated. The shipping "box" was a gray bag -- which got here OPEN!! I'm keeping these boots just because the price is low, and it's inconvenient for me to deal with returning them. The boots themselves look OK, not made with great quality materials. Some threats were coming out, so I had to "melt" them short. The soles arrived with black marks as if someone had wore these boots before. I won't recommend anyone to buy this boots, they're not worth the money. --Made in India-- Seems like less quality from Made in USA or Made in Mexico.

6/2025 I call these boots my over 14 hour Boots. I have a job where sometimes From wake up till i walk in the door Ive had these boots on more than 14 hours And drove 100 miles. My boots do Not need Arch or ancle suppots Perfect fit....a little snug but they stretch. Very comfortable and the price is better than the Justin boot and they are more comfortable I will be ordering more of these boots Update September 2024....I have had four pair of these boots and I have got great use out of them. They are still in great shape after 4 year only had to have the heels replaced and thats because I'm fussy. Two out of the four pair of Boots I donated them tosomeone who couldn't afford new boots and they are still wearing them. One black and one brown pair. I love these boots for any type of wear. The black boots will spit shine. I have worn them in formal, work, riding motorcyles they are my every day wear. I'm in the process of buy two pair and donating my present one to another person. The key to make a boot last long is not to wear them every day. Rotate them out and polish them. During the week I wear this boot every other day. I just bought 2 new ones my other boots are Red Wing and HH. Michael Sites

I ordered the Black Cherry boots a half size bigger like it says in the description, they were to big. They shipped the box in a plastic mailer. Box was damaged. Anyways, the leather on these boots are paper thin. I tried them on and the top of my feet felt like I put on cling wrap. The leather is so thin I was afraid it was going to tear taking my foot out! If these got wet it would be a paper machete mess! I can’t believe how thin they are! The thin leather on the shaft was crinkled and wavy, not smooth at all. I instantly requested a return! I do not recommend these. They wouldn’t last a day! Spend the extra money on a better quality boot. I ended up going to the Ariat store and bought their roper for $90 bucks out the door! Better quality and thick long lasting leather!

I purchased these boots over the years. I’ve owned two other pairs from other manufacturers. This particular boot exceeded my expectations in look, quality, and appearance. I just love to wear them with my jeans and even with my suits. I am actually planning to purchase a pair in brown.
