One thing you should know about this deodorant is it smells really mature, like a really fancy perfume. You might not want that in your downstairs area, but if you, like me, want to smell altogether overpoweringly good, I’d consider asking Old Spice to do a full set with this type of scent. This is the same formula as the Secret full body deodorant (they are operated by the same company) so if that works for you, this should as well. It works for me but it’s not going to last as long or be as fresh for as long as your classic antiperspirant might. But at least it’s not going to give you a yeast infection. ... show more

First off, this is a very small bottle. It is a great size for traveling though! Secondly, my husband doesn't care for the scent. It's more feminine than it is manly. He doesn't feel very confident putting it on. And also, it's like a lotion in a bottle. Roll-on would have been easier to apply. He's not a big fan of a whole body deodorant that is a lotion texture. Some days the husband removes the work boots to release the dogs and.... Whoa! In retaliation I ordered this Black Cherry and Bourbon Total Body Deodorant Cream from Old Spice. I figured he already uses their soap, so why not? He was fine with using the cream for underarms but for his feet it took a little convincing... Okay, well actually it took a lot of convincing. Evidently the Cherry fragrance is a bit too fruity smelling for him, but once he used the cream and got dressed the scent was not noticeable. Husband says that the cream feels nice going on, cool, refreshing and soothing. He was worried it was going to feel greasy and bother him all day, but once it absorbed he said it didn't leave any film and he "didn't mind" (LOL!) that his skin felt softer. Later on that evening, husband was very happy when he removed his boots and noticed that there was no pungent odor emanating from his feet. It seems that the second ingredient in this cream being cornstarch really makes a difference. We are both satisfied with how the cream has performed and he is happily now using it daily. At time of this review the cream is selling for $12.99 for the 3 oz tube. Seems a little pricey to me but it is a trusted brand and there are some nice ingredients in it, so I really don't think the selling price is too far off. ... show more

This deodorant works well and keeps any unpleasant odors and helps to keep lots of places dry. I like that it can be used across the entire body and is safe for even the parts you wouldnt typically think of using. It lasts all day and washes off easily in the shower. The deodorant is a smooth cream that initially appears white, but becomes clear with spreading out. Doesn't leave tacky residue like a lot of stick deodorants. The black cherry + bourbon scent is a pleasant fruit-wood mix that's not too strong (doesn't leave a cloud of cough-inducing perfume in your wake). This works well when used in a preventative manner, applied before perspiration and odor starts. If you're looking for on-demand application though, this will help a bit, but not totally clear odor that's already present. The product has a warning about containing an alpha hydroxy acid, which may increase sun sensitivity and risk of sunburn. The label suggests wearing sunscreen (should be using sun protection anyways) during use and for a week afterwards. ... show more
