I've been using the non-whip/non-SPF Olay Regenerist for years, and when I saw there was a version with SPF 25, I thought I'd give it a try. This Whip version is so much better for my skin, and since it's summer and I'm in Southern California, the SPF is really important (just wish this had been around 40 years ago!). Anyway, even in my middle age, I still have trouble with breakouts. I've been using this product daily for a few weeks now, and my face has not been clearer since before my teen years. I don't have severe acne, but enough trouble that I don't leave the house without makeup. I apply this after washing and toning my face on completely dry skin. At first, I wasn't sure I liked the fragrance (I do like the smell of the original formula), but it isn't strong at all, and now I can't even smell it. And my nose is very sensitive to fragrances! When I first apply it, it seems a little greasy/shiny, but it absorbs completely in just a couple minutes, and is perfect under my mineral powder foundation. I find I have a lot less shine throughout the day, too, unlike when I use the non-SPF/original version. My skin looks so good that I am not not even using any moisturizer at night (I was using this one during the day and the original at night but that was too much moisture for me). Maybe when the weather changes, or if I lived in a cold & dry winter-y area, I'd need to use both, but right now, this one alone is a gem. Now I'm just hoping they don't change the formula or keep raising the price -- ugh! ... show more

I’m not sure what happened to everyone else’s shipments, I know I almost didn’t order because of all the negative reviews. That being said, mine shipped just fine, no damage to the box or product. My product had not been opened or tampered with, no finger swipes through mine, it had the plastic safety cover once you unscrewed the top and everything. I was issuing the Whips Total Effects fragrance free, but I had an Amazon giftcard and really needed the cream quickly, so I went with this. I don’t regret it, at first it felt slightly more greasy than the Total Effects.... but once I let it set for a second, it was just moisturizing and it felt great. Yes this does have a light scent to it, not it’s not over powering in my opinion. That being said I can be in Bath and Body Works smelling 15 different candles and be fine, so take that with a grain of salt. If you don’t like scents, DONT GET IT. Don’t rip on a product just because it’s scented, it says it’s scented. Otherwise, I’ve been using it for 2-3 days now with my sensitive skin and the weather in the Pacific Northwest, it’s been doing amazing. I’d buy it again. I’d recommend the Total Effects fragrance free though if you aren’t a fan of the couple seconds of fragrance this product has, is dissipates pretty quickly though. ... show more
