My bathroom is in a sort of permanent remolding phase...as in it has been put low on the priority list of things to finish in the house. I didn't really have a mirror and thought it would be nice to change that. Since I didn't need a medicine cabinet, I ordered this to put up and I really was not disappointed. There are two different mounting options for the mirror, vertical or horizontal. Instead of having screw holes on the back, it has four rectangular hanging plates on the back (two on a long side, and two on a short side). It then comes with two corresponding plates you attach to the wall. Make sure you base your measurements on whether it is going horizontal or vertical because the plates on the back of the mirror have to match up with the ones you attached to the wall or it won't sit right. Once they are screwed into the studs or into the molly's it comes with, you simply set the mirror on the plates in the wall. If they don't match up you will have to unscrew the plates in the wall and remeasure and res-crew them in so make sure you are accurate. Now for me, I couldn't use the plates. I tried...but since I don't have sheetrock in my bathroom...I only had the studs to attach it to. The studs in my house are not wide enough for the attachment plates...so I just used the screws. Not sure I would advise that, but it dies set on the screws alright and hanged just fine for me. So if your in a pinch, don't sweat it. But again, you probably should install it as it should be installed for safety reasons. All in all, it looks great and I have a mirror again! This mirror is great for what we needed. The half bath in our house was an owner add-on and there was only a small shaving mirror in it. This mirror was easy to hang, but keep in mind that the sides are metal instead of plastic. This is great for the longevity of the mirror, but it made it heavy enough that we made sure to hang using a stud finder. The mirror is clear and good quality - not wavy or distorted like some I have seen before. I also like the size of this mirror, because I can see most of my upper torso and not just my face. ... show more

Beautiful farmhouse mirror. Frame is solid. Can hang vertical or horizontal with two overhanging metal lips on the back for horizontal and vertical hanging ( to hang which way you choose). These overhang "lips" will be more easy to hang the mirror with instead of other notches or holes that are on the backs of some mirrors. This hanging design will allow for movement back and forth if the mirror needs to be centered more over whatever your hanging it above. ... show more

Very nice and good-looking. Will go well in the water closet under the new fixture. Finish seems quite sturdy. Mounting options seem good. I only inspected but have some painting to do before I go hanging a giant sheet of glass on the wall.

I am very pleasantly surprised by how large and high quality this mirror is! Straight out of the package it is heavy and so well made. I hear some jingling before opening the box that set off alarms for me, but it is just the installation tools. It comes in the packaging that shows what it is so if you’re sending as a gift, be aware. If you like modern farmhouse decor, industrial decor, or just a simple design with clean lines, this mirror is perfect. The frame feels like cast iron texture but it isn’t as heavy. So, this thing is BIG. I love the metal frame, it's very sturdy and the mirror clarity is incredible. It took maybe 5 minutes to install, it looks very sleek and modern in my bathroom. I definitely think it's worth the money it's a very nice mirror.
