If you think you want to order this, don’t be fooled by “Free, easy return” if there is damage or what you get isn’t representative of the pictures. To return the product for free, it has to be packed back into its box, and taken to a post office. Mine arrived in a box that was a collection of holes and ripped cardboard held together with clear tape holding 80 pounds of pieces to be assembled. Assuming that I could have put all of the pieces back in the box (which would have been impossible), it never would have survived shipping back to the seller. In the past, when I have had to return an item too large, heavy or bulky to load into my car, Amazon or the seller arranged for a carrier to pick it up for return shipping. This seller sends a long letter saying that it’s too expensive for them to use any carrier but USPS, but if another carrier is needed, the buyer has to pay for it. So “free, easy return” is misleading. I initiated a return when I found flaws and things that were misrepresented in the photos and description, but ended up keeping it because it would cost a small fortune to ship it back. Also be aware that assembling this is a big undertaking. There are 150 pieces of hardware alone. In every piece that required screws or cam bolts to be used, the guide holes were not straight and I had to force the hardware into its correct position, which in turn damaged the top layer of the “engineered wood.” The instructions were clear and all parts identified well, but note that the instructions are only pictures. There were some steps that would have benefitted from adding written instruction. They do suggest having 2 people for assembly, and although I did it alone, I would agree that it would have been easier with a second person. Total assembly time for me was apx. 8 hours over a 3 day period. It should also be noted that the surface of the table feels like plastic and is slightly textured. The marbling is very yellow…much more than represented in the pictures. It isn’t even remotely subtle. There are also clearly visible seams at the edges and on the side where the decorative material meets. I have concerns about how will this hold up or how well it can be cleaned if anything is ever spilled on it. Time will tell. In concept, this is a good table…but the reality, along with the barriers to returning it, is disappointing. ... show more

This is heavier than I expected but works perfectly for us. Assembly instructions could be better (I missed a crucial step at the beginning my wife was able to fix). We bought this after exhausting the furniture shops in town.

Fantastic product. We ended up buying the tv console with fireplace, the side tables and this coffee table. So happy they had all in stock!
