    • RivNuts worked very well
Used to provide a capture nut for the view window on HB sandblast cabinet. Choose your drill bit wisely when using these. You will need to have letter and number bits to properly address hole size. These are for MINIMUM 0.020" thick materials. So do not use these unless you are at least that thick! Measure the SMOOTH part of the rivnut NOT the serrated barrel portion. Match your bit to the diameter of the smooth portion of the rivnut barrel. For instance the 10-24 rivnut that I used required a J type drill bit to match the diameter of the rivnut. So be careful choosing the correct drill bit. Be advised that you will have to obtain letter and number drill bits if you use these frequently to assure the proper size hole is drilled. Had no issues installing but depending on your rivnut tool you will need some stout hand and arm strength to compress these rivnuts! They all held first time and are performing very well.     • They do the job they are designed to do.
I've used, almost, every size that came in the kit, and they've each worked for their intended purpose. My only complaint is that there isn't a guide as to what size drill bit is needed for each size insert. Not all of these are made to the same specs, across all companies that manufacture them. I have some, from a previous job, where, for a proper fit, the specific size insert needed a 19/64" hole. Where the same sized insert, in this kit, required a 17/64" bit. Not that big a deal as I just mic'd each insert to figure out what bit I needed for a correct, installed, fit.     • Great assortment of Rivet nuts at a good price
The rivet nuts shipped out and arrived on time. Packaged well. A good assortment for the price. They work as they should and hold great. The little plastic box even seems well made. I would recommend and will buy more.

    • I love these things
I spend my days working on my projects looking for an opportunity to put a Nutsert / RivNut in place of an old self tapping screw. They just look nicer and secure better.

    • Purely for sheet metal
The idea of using these items for mounting in anything other than sheet metal is becoming increasingly stupid. The uses and imagination for use is great, but on my vehicle where I mounted the light bar in a rather thick area of the roof, I am constantly replacing these.

I only used the 10-24 nuts to install hangers in my gazebo to hang string lights. I made my own installation tool - see Youtube for details. No complaints. They work as advertised.

    • Quality Parts
I already have the tools but I needed to replace the rivet nuts. These worked very well... they are a good quality and a good assortment of sizes. I used the #10 rivet nuts to install mirrors on my 67 Bronco and the application is better that factory. I would not hesitate to purchase these again.
