I have been enjoying using Capricorn tubing for my 3D printers. So far no issues, just make sure to cut the end going into your hot end so that it is completely flush (I've seen some where it was, and others where it had a slight angle). I am taking a star off because my initial delivery was a set of nozzles labeled as Capricorn tubing. Return and replacement went fine, but it added time to the delivery and shouldn't have happened. This is a good printer as long as you get the most current iteration of the parts these appear to still be shipping with the first generation extruder and hotend. If you buy this it will be necessary for you to swap out the extruder and the hotend for the current versions so out of the box these need to be repaired. Creality either needs to put the new parts in the box or they need to stop selling these early renditions. I would not buy this unless you can confirm the newer parts are installed. I unboxed mine then noticed the old parts and immediately put it back in the box to return it. I will pass on ordering another one of these until the newer parts are included. ... show more

    • Genuine Capricorn Bowden tubing
This is genuine Capricorn tubing, and not the cheaper PTFE tubing that usually comes with printers. These have tighter tolerances, and I recommend them over generic PTFE tubing - especially if you plan to print TPU and do not have a direct drive system since the tighter tolerances help reduce how much the TPU compresses in the tubing. Printing TPU at 40mm/s worked great with these. Also, if you plan to print using filament that requires higher temperatures, I definitely recommend this tubing. It will last longer for all uses including 200 C PLA, but it is especially helpful when used for higher temperatures over 250 C. And the price ($11.49 at the time of this review) is competitive for genuine Capricorn tubing. ... show more

Capricorn Bowden tubing is always the best. I like buying the cheaper 3D printers and upgrading them myself, and this product is always an essential upgrade. It stand up to the heat better and it’s the perfect internal diameter for the filament to slide right through without really any gap.

The reviews for this printer don't do it justice. It is definitely not at all perfect, but it is a great, well rounded machine. It's very fast (and loud), comes pre-assembled, and is very easy to use. There is no calibration, or bed leveling hassle.
