I wasn't sure how well it would hold my coffin, decks and mixer since it all seemed pretty heavy, but after putting it together and laying the coffin on top, I was completely satisfied. I have the odyssey carpeted battle style coffin so I can't comment on a standard setup coffin. It is a little wobbly on carpet upstairs but as long as you aren't jumping around or scratching really hard, it stays still. Like one reviewer mentioned, I had one screw that wasn't threaded properly, it wouldn't freely thread into place but it did the job. I have no complaints about anything else. A good wide base at the bottom creates a solid foundation. The adjuster in the middle is held in place by a wing nut on each side. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent price stand for your bedroom or gigging event. ... show more

Out of all the stands I've had thru out the years for my Turntable Coffin and Controller Case. This stand took the weight. I was afraid that it would collapse,but no its strong and durable. For all you Mobile DJs who don't have a fold out table. This stand is for you. Its light and easy to set up. And it even looks better when you put a skirt on it. It will look so professional.     • To big for NS6 Flight case!
This stand is pretty nice, it's beefy and the adjustable latch has wing nuts to lock it down. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the product (although there was sosme shipping damage due to VERY POOR packaging). The upper rails are TO LONG for the NS6 odyssey flight case! The case ends up sitting on the metal rails instead of the rubber pads located on each end of the rails. To fix this so it didn't destroy my case or the stand I went to the hardware store and purchased foam pipe insulation and added a couple of zip ties for extra security. Just note that you will have the rails sticking out of the front and or back, easy to get caught on things/people. ... show more

This stand is easy to assemble, took me about 15 mins to get it all setup. Pretty much straight forward from there. This stand is very sturdy, it easily supported my case which weighs an excess of 100 pounds. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a descent stand, odyssey is definitely a reliable brand. I would also recommend following the written instructions from the manual which is to make 100% sure you lock the "teeth" and bolts in place because if not it could lead to your equipment hitting the floor. ... show more

This is absolutely the best coffin stand I've ever owned, hands down. This has wide support beams for all four legs, not your average pole legs. This thing could probably hold an elephant. Very sturdy and strong, I would trust this with $5,000.00 worth of equipment sitting on it. For DJ's and producers with $3,000.00+ workstations, I think double braced is the only way to go and Odyssey makes great products that are portable with decent pricing. ... show more
