I like this desk. It was easy for me to assemble (but I'm pretty mechanically not-an-idiot[technical term] and a beefcake [total lie]) and took about an hour. My only gripe with it is I can't have the desk flush with the wall because the top shelf is too shallow for my monitor. That may also be because I didn't check the measurements to see if my monitor would fit on it before I ordered it, hence why I am not deducting stars from the rating. I've got it on carpet and it's sturdy. The LED is kind of gimmicky and is really just 2 strips you double-side tape to the bottom of the top shelf. You could probably just buy a non-LED version of this desk and go to the dollar store and buy a couple strips of LED lights, but you do you. I really do love the power strip that is built into the desk though. It makes my wife jealous. Her desk is for peasants. Anyway, what I really do like about this desk is how high quality it is for the low price. It doesn't look cheap either, which is nice. It does kind of look cheap now because I have foam bumpers taped to it with packaging tape so my daughter doesn't bang her head into it. The corners are like knives. Anyway, buy it. It's a good desk.

I was skeptical because I knew this was pressed wood but I was getting this for my teenager so I thought it would be best for her to stickerbomb. This was super easy to build and it’s sturdy. She loves the adjustable light and the desk space and levels to put all her knickknacks. It’s a perfect basic gaming desks for teens.

So all in all, it seems to be sturdy. Although, the metal tubing that is used is about an inch or maybe 3/4 of an inch. How it's made is it seems to be cut in a way where one side is left uncut, and is used as a hinge to be bent. Then where the part comes together, they put a tack weld on it. Every time I held it in my hands I felt like I could just use my own strength to snap it. With that said, I got it all put together and it seems sturdy enough to hold the weight of the typical desk items such as a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, as well as a bunch of miscellaneous items. However, just to be safe, I will be putting my heavy, expensive gaming computer on a separate shelf on the floor as I wouldn't want to risk it falling from the weight and being damaged. Assembly was actually very straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. Almost reminded me of lego instructions. Some might of complained about not having all the screws, but not only were the screws packaged nicely, but each screw type came with one extra one. Regarding price, I got mine on sale for 99 which was a very good deal. A day or two after mine was shipped, I checked the price because if I liked it after putting it together, I was going to order more. The price ended up being raised to 129.99. As I'm writing this review I checked it again, and the price has been raised even further to 149.99. Not sure why that happens, but for the price that I paid for it, I got a good deal. Is it worth 50 dollars more than I paid? Possibly, although I didn't look around much after finding this one as it was the cheapest I could find, so maybe for 150 there might be better ones out there, but there might be more sales so you just have to get lucky and find one that fits your budget. Lastly, I will say the overall size is perfect for what I need it for, as I have a small bedroom and I have my desk set up under my loft bed to safe space. It's bigger than the cheap desk I have been using, but it fits nicely in a corner and with my new layout, it's actually given me a lot more space for a lot of other things, such as chargers and all of the tech I have accumulated over the years.

This is a great desk for someone with a budget! It also wasn’t too hard to put together solo, it might be challenging for some people as you have to put the legs and supports on while the desk is upside down, so you have to flip the whole L shaped desk over in the middle of building it. I was worried but I was able to do it fairly easily by myself as a woman who is mildly out of shape! Instructions were easy to follow and all the tools and hardware needed were included, the finished result looks amazing and not cheap at all!

Ended up getting this desk during an Amazon sale for about $120 (gray oak). Overall I couldn't be happier. It fits my dual monitors (27"/24"), a couple of consoles, and more with plenty of room to spare, despite being a little on the shallow side. The USB/outlet is great to have, and the RGB strip can easily toggle brightness and colors and turn off - makes for a great light for night or projects on the desk. It looks lovely, and is very stable even with an EATX tower on it. Props to whoever made the instructions; they're the best and easiest to follow I've ever seen in a flat pack like this. This is the best affordable L desk not just on Amazon but overall.
