This desk is roomy and perfect for my needs. My pen tablet, cord, and stuff I keep in the left drawer, notebooks in the middle, and some misc in the right. The drawers are deep and can surprisingly hold a lot! I kept big parts to the computer I built in two of them - the top, screens and sides. It wasn't difficult to assemble, either. My 12 yr old daughter and I put it together one morning, as soon as it arrived. It fits perfectly in the only space I have for it. It's super sturdy, and I think the price was considerably reasonable. Super happy with this purchase!

Update: I was contacted by the seller after posting this review and they allowed me to choose between a refund or replacement for the desk. Adding more stars since they reached out to me to make it right. Original Review: On the positive side, the desk was fairly easy to put together and included all of the necessary parts and tools, including spare screws. The drawers are fabric lined, but they feel sturdy compared to other fabric containers I've used, and the front panels have a nice woody look to match the rest of the desk. Now for the complaints. There were some manufacturing issues shown in the photos I'm including here, the first being that one of the screw holes was not finished. You can see a circle slightly etched in where a hole should be. By the time I realized this, I was too far into the setup to swap things around and I simply had to deal with installing the middle shelf on the side opposite to where I wanted it. I also found out too late that my PC case (18.5"x8"x17") is just slightly too wide and deep to fit on the lower shelves, as the space between the legs only allows up to 7.125" wide and 16.125" deep, making it just 1/8th inch too narrow in both dimensions. You can expect about 21.5" from the bottom shelf up to the drawers without the middle shelf installed. Another issue was with one of the drawer handles having some rather small but sharp metal burrs. Probably not large enough to cut me, but certainly not comfortable if your fingers happen to cross it. As for general build quality, the upper-shelf does not feel remarkably sturdy and flexes quite a bit. Probably not an issue if anyone is using dual monitors or even just a single monitor sitting right in the middle. Just as long as the weight is distributed evenly across the shelf. Otherwise, you may find the shelf starting to bow on one side. I did contact the manufacturer according to the instructions provided, which suggested I would get a response within 24 hours. Well, that was a week ago and still no response. At this point I'm not getting my hopes up about finding any support for this desk. Buyer beware.

The drawers are a felt like material not wood or metal they are nice only problem I have it sometimes it will stick of a bit but you just lift a bit. I highly recommend getting this

I do love the practicality and appearance of this desk. Having said that I was surprised to open the box and find metal pieces for the frame and legs, but once it was together with the wood top, shelf, and drawer fronts it is very pleasing. The tiny shelf is perfect for display of treasures. The three drawers are very deep allowing for lots of storage.

Desk came complete and in good condition. Instructions were all pictures and very easy to follow. Loved that every packet of screws were clearly labeled and even included a couple extra. It took my husband and I almost two hours to assemble and we are not wonderful on space logistics but we did ok. Desk is smaller than expected but it is as described. Worst part: drawers are fabric covered cardboard and will not last more than a few times. Very disappointing with this one area. Size is perfect for students or very small office.

Took a while to put this together. Directions not very good, but the end result was a beautiful desk. Had a little issue with a drawer handle, but the company was quick to respond and offer solutions. I love my desk. 55" is perfect in my apartment. Yes the drawers are cloth - but they slide well and are nice and roomy. I did add a warm stick-on light strip along the underside of the top shelf to give light to the items I put underneath,, which really looks nice. Wonderful purchase!
