Great price for the product. Assembly is very intuitive and can be done alone in under an hour. Prior to purchase, I was most apprehensive about the quality of the wood and the attachment between the metal frame and wood surfaces. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the wood is light and sturdy- nothing like the concrete-like hyper density of the particle board (MDF) used in many products similar to this one. I was even more pleased to see that there are threaded metal receivers embedded into the wood wherever a screw needs to go, meaning there's no need for any sharp fasteners, nor any need to apply pressure during assembly. You only need your fingers and either one of the two allen keys that come in the box. It also makes it much easier to be sure that everything is perfectly aligned and secured. Ultimately, if this looks like it'll fit your needs, it's almost certainly the best quality for the price that you can find. For the sake of adding some details- the main desk surface on the 48 inch version measures 19 and 5/8" deep. The monitor shelf is 8" deep, but it extends about an inch further back than the main surface, so it only sits above the back 7" of the main surface. At the monitor shelf's highest position, it leaves 5 and 3/4" between the desk surface and the bottom of the shelf, so I personally don't feel cramped by it at all. The main surface is still plenty of space for a full size laptop and plenty of other things.

I actually love this desk so much that I bought it twice, once for myself and once for my husband! It is easy to assemble and perfect for both of our setups. The elevated shelf is great for my dual monitors and I can put my laptop on its docking station underneath. The desk also looks nice and holds up well!

Simple to assemble and not a lot of cluttered parts within its packaging. A very durable desk for my work from needs for organization and minimalism I need without too much $, and something I can also breakdown and transfer to a new area if needed.

This desk (white) met my needs for my gaming and work. It was a breeze setting up, it also came with some extra screws. I have a 43 inch 4k oled tv, that is on the top and a surround bar underneath. The desk space I more than enough, I like the added pocket (well made) that can be used for anything, paperwork, folders, controller and cables too. This desk is well made and it feels really sturdy, the box had a big dent on the top corner, so I hoped that nothing was damaged inside. As it turns out everything inside was well packaged and protected. So for almost $70 you can't beat the price, the delivery was on time as well. The two metal bars on the back of desk are for support. Even though there is an opening, it works in my user case because I stretch my legs and not worry about hitting a backboard.

This desk created a perfect space for me to set up my grandson's computer so he can use it. Sadly for him, the privacy is minimal, but at least when I sneak up behind him I can ensure that he is not viewing anything that is not age appropriate. It is also very attractive, conplementing my dining room furniture, and includes a raised shelf for his monitor so that he has ample space for his keyboard and mousepad. I was even able to fit my printer on the lower half of the desk. Another inspired purchase for which I can pat myself on the back.

I was initially concerned because I read the "poor" reviews after I already purchased it. My experience was evidently not the same. The shipping was on time & the box had no damage. It was all packed well & everything was fine, when opened with all parts labeled. The manual was easy to follow. I decided to time myself, once I had everything unwrapped. I made sure not to fully tighten anything until the top of the desk was on. It took me 43 minutes (by myself) using only the tools provided. There was at least one additional of each of the screw at completion. It's solid & looks great!
