I’m not very good at building things but this took me about 2 1/2 hours to build (with one other person). Instructions are super easy to read, honestly I just looked at parts I needed and looked at the photos. Final product is very nice! It’s super sturdy. Only con is that it gets fingerprints on it very easily. Other than that I love it. This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he throughly enjoys it. The best features about this is definitely the sturdiness, the lights, the outlets, and the side pocket. 5/5!

I got this desk because I work from home. I like the fact that there is a raised area to put my monitor on. There is a good amount of space for my work phone and all my computer stuff. I did get the longer one just because I had the space and I would rather have the extra desk room. I like the section of it that sticks out a little more to the side, because it doesn’t come out far and take up a lot of floor space but it gives you a nice place to put extra stuff like a drink or a notebook or etc. I like the plug in’s it has on top because I can use it as a charging area for my various devices. The desk is nice looking and sturdy. Let’s get down to installation though. If it doesn’t go together right then you have something backward. I put that in my title because I saw another review where someone said a bar didn’t line up properly and they couldn’t secure it to the desktop. I made that same mistake, but then I realized I had to turn it and it fit fine. I thought it looked the same no matter which way it was, but then I realized up to down it was the same but when I turned the bar around like left to right then it fit. You can’t tell by looking at it that it would make a difference, but it makes just enough of a difference that it lines everything up right. This is a two person job and you have to read the instructions carefully. There were several times that I had trouble and realized I had something backward or upside down. Just trust me that if things don’t line up wheee you can screw things together then you have it turned wrong somehow.

This is a Great desk for your money. It gives you a lot of options to have things like collectibles or other devices connected to your PC to be on the desk in some way, keeping them off the floor. There is even set up for whichever side you want the the side part of your desk to be on. Only negatives for me are that I chose the 48 inch desk and I feel like I could have bumped it up to the next size. 48 works but is a little tight. The other negative for me is the control for the light strip, is a small control panel connected to the power cable. It is a little awkward for when I want to turn the light strip on. It does come with a power strip to screw into the desk but it is obviously a cheap one and I prefer to have the light switch connected to a better surge protector I bought that is very close to the desk.
