It is a perfect fit and came properly packaged, and the instructions were easy to understand. It comes with extra screws and tools in case you happen to lose one. I do assume the extra tools are for if you have someone helping you to build it. Alone, it took me about an hour to set this up give or take. The one thing that I feel is IMPORTANT is to make sure you read those instructions properly before you begin to set up. It has 2 sets of instructions, one labeled L, and the other labeled R which will determine your desired setup for where you want it placed. It’s a little smaller than I had in my mind, but that’s because I didn’t realize how big 40 inches is. It’s a little difficult to put together because of the directional stuff, but it’s nowhere near as bad as IKEA furniture. It’s super space efficient and compact. I can fit two 24” gaming monitors, my gaming PC tower, a small trash can, 5 organizers to sort all my pens, my headphone stand, keyboard, and mouse on here, and still have room for my laptop.
