Pros: Assembly took about 2 hours doing it by myself. No issues with screws not lining up or anything like that. They supplied all the tools, even a mini screwdriver. It looks nice once together. Size is perfect, looks sturdy for now. Mine is on carpet so I don’t need to use the feet, but that will change eventually. Cons: The light strip installation is kind of messy, there’s lots of extra cord and nowhere to put it. The loss of a star is for the front of the desktop not matching up. You can see it in the pictures. I tried when I was putting it together to keep it lined up but once you start screwing things in, there’s not much you can do about it. I also don’t love how the top is three separate pieces. I’m going to have to look for one of those desk pads but it will have to be a weird sized one because of where the supports for the monitor shelves are. Speaking of, DO NOT lift the desk by the monitor shelves: the black part that line the feet will come up and you’ll scare yourself half to death thinking you just ripped the shelf off. ... show more

For the price, this a really practical, well built desk with impressively clear instructions. A few notes: Watch the orientation of the pieces! Almost none are symmetrical, and you need to align holes carefully. It’s wood and what feels like powder coated steel. While the holes are mostly well-aligned, there is some “play” and you may need to push on the metal to encourage it to bend into tighter alignment at times. Don’t tighten all the screws! Leave them looser to get the pieces to fit, and then tighten. Last, we the instructions say to mount the RGB bars at the front of the monitor shelf. We mounted them at the back and I’d recommend it. 1. There is more room in the back to spread out out the 2 light bars without bumping into the shelf supports. 2. The light is less in your face and gives the desk a nice glow. 3. They left two much slack between the the two RGB bars. Mounting in the front would leave an awkward loop of cable. ... show more

I have no complaints about this desk. Hubby and I wanted something small and simple and this fit the bill for our gaming computer. I added a little foot rest underneath and it fit well but that is the only thing that was lacking. I am short and so the monitor stand is high so my chair has to be raised all the way. I purchased this desk for my son who is a hardcore gamer. When it came, he put it together with ease. The color and construction of the desk was very pleasing but on the L side because it has only 2 places for legs, if you tried to move it the L would start bowing in the middle. Has more than enough ports and charging outlets. Very spacious and sturdy, even on carpet. I would recommend this product for anyone to purchase. The desk is well worth the price. ... show more

Assembling took me about 2-3 hours to do and some parts were quite challenging to do by myself (needed someone to hold certain parts while screwing things in, but I just used my feet to hold it in place instead) so I recommend having someone there to help you build it as it would be much more convenient. The desk itself is nice and sturdy and the LED strip (many different colors as well as different tempo can be selected) adds a nice touch for night time gaming. The pillars/stands of the desk are made from metal and the tabletop portion of it is all wood. One cool thing about this desk is you can choose which sides you want the shelf on.
