Was a little apprehensive about the price tag associated with Occidental but after a month it is worth every penny. Extremely comfortable and about the perfect configuration. I may remove the tape measure pocket and get a separate holder so I can gain access to the screwdriver/chisel pockets on the right side but they may be more accessible when it breaks in more. I am also going to heat up and flatten a piece of PVC to slide into the pocket I use for my drywall saw. I'm looking forward to many years of use with this high quality product.

My boyfriend bought these and he loves them, takes a couple weeks to break in which isn't bad, a lot of room for tools. He has purchased the wool hip pads because of the pressure on his hips, so if you are planning on wearing these for an extended period of time I would recommend also purchasing the hip pads. He wears his anywhere from 6 - 15 hours a day.

This fits all the needs I have wether I’m doing rubber shingles skylights it’s not to bulky but has great storage I live in new England. It gets hot here so although I started on the middle hole I’m down to the last hole in a month

This is worth every penny (though I bought used-like new for about $200, I still say worth full price. I would call myself an advanced DIYer. Redone many bathrooms and kitchens, repaired a few roofs, built decks from ground up, flipped a house or two, etc, but I don’t make my living with it and don’t wear it everyday. That said, I still should have made the investment is one of these sets of bags a long time ago. I always had cheap bags that were impractical and uncomfortable, so I only wore them when absolutely necessary and wasted sooo much time running back and forth for tools, looking for tools I set down and forgot, etc. These are practical and comfortable - so I actually use it, which has made my projects much more enjoyable and time efficient. Less frustration and searching for tools means I can focus on the work. I do better work with it. Should have invested in one of these a long time ago!

Very well made and thoughtfully designed- probably can't find a better belt. Big downside is the fact that every piece of clothing I own is now stained red from the leather dye. I thought it would slow down eventually but it hasn't. I don't have a shirt or a pair of pants without red stains around the waist. The areas of the bags and belt that contact my body the most are now a light veg-tan leather color- so I guess this will continue until the entire inside of the belt has transferred it's dye onto my clothes.

These are made in the good old US of A! You can see and feel the great quality of these bags! I highly suggest that you purchase the suspenders made by Occidental. I purchased them for my nephew (works for me). I have employees that have been using Occidental Leather tool bags for 15 years and they still look new! These are a must have and the only bags you will ever need if you work in construction!
