    • EAN brand ocarina from Korea has lovely sound and is great for any level player.

I am very new to ocarinas and learning to play, so I have been trying out some of the plastic ones first, I'm afraid to drop and break a ceramic one. This lovely yellow (peanut butter colored) plastic ocarina is made by EAN and comes from Korea. It is very forgiving of my beginner playing attempts, has a wonderful tone, not at all windy sounding like some of those super cheapie other brand plastic ones, and comes with a pouch, a neck cord, and a fingering chart. I did learn that the little extra tuning holes are in different spots on this one than are on a Woodnote brand one, but comparing the fingering charts from both is helpful. I could not be more pleased with this ocarina, and will also buy one of the EAN ivory colored ones soon. Any level of players can enjoy this ocarina, from little kids to adults. It is made of nice heavy smooth plastic and can be rinsed out after you're done playing. I am experimenting with bending notes, slides, and some other harmonica-type effects already and only got this a week ago, (I am an older adult who wishes to play folk songs, not videogame music). This Korean ocarina looks good, but the small holes are only on the index and middle finger of the right hand not matching the pictures of the music book <:-(
