So far they have been great besides having to reglue them easy wiring up and keep me safe at night. The led strip for red looks orange but it actually lights up red.     • Waste of money
The adhesive isn’t worth crap installed on my boat and immediately the adhesive on the light started coming loose on the ends of both lights stuck good to boat just not the light strip itself . The good was easy to install and very bright especially the green one.

These are a pretty decent setup and have a nice look to them being wide and narrow strips for nav lights. The wire insulation is a real good quality and the lights seem to be well sealed up too. I'm not a big fan of the thick adhesive gel like strips they put on these but if they hold up to salt water then great. Some areas of that adhesive strip are hanging over too much but I'll trim them off, I just don't like dealing with that stuff and I'm more used to a much flatter adhesive tape. The green light is way brighter than the red. It's brighter than any common green nav light would be so I think they need to step the wattage down a little on it. You can't really tell in the pictures but it's blinding compared to the red which I know doesn't cast light like other colors but it's still too bright for a nav light. Nav lights are to be seen, not to see with. The red light is about right on brightness. You can see the individual LED's in the defuser strip on the red but wouldn't notice from even any short distance. You can't see that on the green cause it's just too bright haha. Still not a bad product and some cool looks for nav lights on a boat. ... show more

    • Green side is bright, red, not so much
I just bought a small Jon boat and needed to put red and green navigation lights on the front. They’re easy to install. Just peel and stick to your boat. Make sure the surface is clean before you install them. They are each 12 inches long, so you have 6 inches to the front and 6 inches to the side. The green LED is super bright, but the red LED doesn’t seem as bright. The boating laws here require the lights to be seen at 1 mile in the dark. I’m not sure if the red will go that far, but the green would definitely go a mile. It is bright. I wouldn’t recommend these for larger boats, but they should work just fine for my small Jon boat. ... show more

Easy installation. The lights are of good quality and not cheap. The adhesive was easy to work with. Simple electrical connection. Tried it out at night at a local lake. The lights are easily seen across the lake, just guessing about half to one mile away. Great lights and great choice. Glad I found them! ... show more

Comes rolled on a spool with short bare ends on the wires. Additional wiring will be needed and make sure it is water proof. Otherwise simple enough basic 2 wire DC wiring. Shown here connected to a 12 volt LiFePo4 battery the lights are very bright. These will work very well on my kayak.
