These are the best balls for babies about 2-6+ months but specifically this has always been our go to as far as first toys go for baby. They are easy for them to get their little fingers around and make it easy for them to grab on to as well. They are fun colors and they make versions with rattles built into them too or little cars or trucks as baby gets older. My daughter has played with this since we bought it when she was around 3 months old. She's almost 6 months old now and it's still great. She loves it and we love it too. It's lightweight, easy to clean, fun bath/water toy as well. It's great for fine motor skill development. It rolls, so it's great for tracking and other skills as the baby grows.
