Our faux leather recliner had a hole in the arm/wrist area where I would rest my arm. The instructions on the box are very clear and I measured carefully to patch the area with enough material. The burgandy color was not an exact match, but we were happy with how close it did actually match. The patching material was easy to cut. The trick is to take your time and do not take the backing off at one time. Instead, lay your piece over the area to be patched anrea, and slowly remove the backing while adhering the material over the area to be patched. While adhering it slowly, rub out any air bubbles and smooth out the material so that there are no lumps or bumps left behind. Again, just take your time. The area patched nicely and after a month, still looks good. The material is not itchy and often I forget that the are has been patched.

If you have big tares like I had, this is one of the only solutions. It works and sticks pretty well. It is hard to bend around curves without stretching. This is because it is very strong. I used it on my John Deere Tractor seat. It is the same color yellow and matches fairly well. Better than spending hundreds of dollars for a new seat.

Yes, I would recommend this product. I used this product to repair a reclining leather loveseat. Part of the lower back support was made of faux leather that was peeling. I was able to easily apply leather repair tape and it now looks great! Hopefully it will continue to adhere and last for a while.
