I really love these shelves. These are nice for displaying boxes, clocks, Funko Pops, etc. 1. Installment... easy. I was able to install these shelves easily... nothing else to say. 2. Removing them. I had to remove one of them because i placed placed it unbalancing.. I've used my dust remover that blows hot air and I was able to remove these very easily with NO damage in my wall paint. 3. Sturdiness. These are strong for displaying boxes, figures, etc. But for electronics, that's a big pass for me. BIG NOTE: PLEASE be smart about this... the amount of stupid reviews of people giving 1 star because their wall paint are damaged or their shelves breaking is just unbelievable. These shelves are NOT built for freaking heavy laptops, Xbox's, heavy equipment, etc. These are designs for ONLY very light objects such as boxes, figures, controllers, light picture frames, etc. Not freaking Xbox consoles... maybe the Nintendo Switch is a pass. Also, PLEASE don't just yank these out. get a hairdryer, and heat up the shelves for over 3 minutes and eventually, the shelves will be very easy to remove and no wall paint damage. Again, don't just yank these out like other reviewers have done... ridiculous. I was able to remove 3 of them with no wall damage thanks to heating them up. If you never want to take the shelf/shelves down, use the adhesive pads that come with them. I changed my mind and lost sheetrock trying to get them down. Also, the logo on the shelf is quite noticable and aligned with the front edge so you want to install them above eye level. The hole for cords is a nice feature. ... show more

You probably know where this one is going, I've been looking for a floating shelf to show off my POP collection something sturdy yet sleek! Finally came across this item and went for it! As shown in the picture, it can hold about 8 regular sized pops and anymore I feel like it wouldn't support it! I just moved to a new apartment and wanted a way to better display my collectibles. I bought 2 originally and like them so much i bought 6 more, and I just bought another 6 more to display some books in my bedroom. I needed something to add stability to a gnome sitting above the heading of my LR window curtains. These shelves were the best since they can be mounted either way and their length allowed putting more than just a gnome there for different seasons. Removing the shelves at a later time would be difficult since I needed a ladder just to reach my chosen location. So instead I used two 3M Command medium white strips—also purchased here—per shelf with their tabs facing downwards for even easier removal should that ever be necessary. I can easily recommend these shelves if you give some thought before installing them to removing them if need be should you choose to use the included 3M adhesive strips. Should I need more floating shelves I would definitely purchase these again! Update_2022-01-23: Considering where my gnomes are sitting on these shelves, I had no need of the included cord clips, but I do like organizing whatever to keep things from being annoying, or dangerous. So now that utility companies urge us to foil "energy vampires", when possible I do try to pull out plugs when appliances aren't actively using them. But then there's those loose or dangling cords w/plugs everywhere, which is where the cord clip for one of the shelves came in handy. It nicely holds the plug for my Ninja Foodi which I push close to the wall so the cord isn't even visible. And I still have one clip left! ... show more

This shelf is good. Unfortunately, due to the way Amazon designed the power cord on the Echo Show 5, it pushes the device forward and off of the front of the shelf a bit. Still stays on shelf but looks unsightly and it needs to look SHARP AF! Anyway, nothing bad to say about the shelf. Been wanting some shelves to display collectibles in my office and got these because of the glossy black finish. Felt it would be a nice display vignette. The 3M adhesive included should work fine, but as it requires a hair dryer to remove, I opted for the more easily removable Contact strips I had on hand (velcro-like, 16# support). Don't want to risk drywall damage and having to haul a tool for removal. Likewise, did not notice the too prominent logo/brand name ruining the sleek finish of the shelves. I understand the need to brand the product, but for something meant for display, it's far too stark and intrusive. Put it on the back. Make it dark grey on black (so it's there, but not as in your face). Or better yet, simply emboss/etch the logo. Putting it in a ring around the cord-hole would be a perfect solution as well. Then it could be covered up easily by what's on the shelf. After my initial disappointment on opening, I checked the questions here and saw that (supposedly) nail polish remover would wipe it right off. Nope. Either they changed the printing to keep this from happening or that is simply incorrect information. Did not even smear it. In the end, the top shelf in the photo is above eye level, so you don't see the logo. The lower shelf, I cut a piece of black electrical tape and covered it. Not as nice as the finish, but nicer than the stark white logo. Happy to say though after fixing those issues, the shelves look great and feature the ships and LOTR Hobbit Hole piece just nicely. ... show more
