    • Good replacement for my old Pit Bulls...
Bought these after I found out Oakley stopped selling the Pit Bull glasses and I needed replacement lenses. Compared to my old Pit Bulls the Turbines are lighter in weight and build. The Pit Bull frames are thick and beefy, when the arms would pop off from being in a jacket pocket or something I never worried they would snap in half. This Turbine frame is thinner and feels, well, weak. It may be nothing, for all I know Oakley may have strengthened the plastic enough to where they can make it thinner and lighter and have the same strength. It feels lighter on my face, blocks out the light on the sides of my eyes, and feels secure (doesn't feel like its gonna fall off, like my old GasCans always sliding down my nose). Has a more square lens which is a bit bigger than the Pit Bull, looks more like conventional sun glasses than goggles. I have a large head and it fits nicely, not too tight, feels comfortable wearing it. If some rapper name Turbine pops up I may have to look for another pair of glasses to wear... ... show more

Sounds kinda strange I know but it’s hard for me to find a pair of sunglasses that don’t feel or look like I am wearing a pair of kids glasses. These were perfect. Fit snug but not tight. Would buy again without hesitation.

These are great. First off they fit large, I am a big guy and worried about these not being large enough but they fit perfect. Second, besides looking very slick, the one I got which is polarized, works great even at night, it blocks headlights, but you can see the road fine. Very good and highly recommend these. I bought these exact same glasses from Oakley for over $250, then scratched them. They lasted about 2 years. These glasses were cheaper than replacement lenses from Oakley for the exact same thing. Can't go wrong.
