I bought these for my kiddo two years ago when she was 11. I believe she was going away to camp or something. I told her either they are IN the case or ON the strap around you neck. Never put them down anywhere. Two years later they are in perfect condition, they still fit and look cool and I feel this was definitely a worthwhile investment.
