Functionally, these sunglasses are excellent. The Prizm Black lenses do a great job reducing glare and enhancing clarity, especially in bright light. The steel frame feels solid but not heavy, and they’re comfortable enough to wear for long stretches without any pressure points. In terms of build and optical quality, they absolutely deliver. Where they fell a little short for me was the overall style. The frame shape has a bit of a throwback feel—almost like a design that would’ve been all over in the early 2000s. On my face, they just didn’t have that modern edge I was hoping for. That said, style is subjective, and if the aesthetic works for you, you’re getting a well-made, high-performance pair of sunglasses. I still wear them occasionally because of the lens quality, but they’re not my go-to for everyday wear. ... show more

As expected, I like these Oakley Heliostats! The matte finish gives them a stylish look and they’re very comfortable. They’re lightweight even though they’re steel and feel sturdy and durable as you’d expect from the Oakley brand. They provide great wrap-around coverage with good wind and UV protection for bikes, motorcycles or any other outdoor activity. They come with a case and cleaner, so a complete package. I realize this price-point might not be for everyone, but for a high-quality pair of sunglasses, you really get what you pay for. I wear these with a half-helmet and highway speeds so I am particular about the quality of eye protection I buy. Indeed there is an up-charge for the Oakley name but my thoughts are, "If you have $20 eyes, buy $20 sunglasses" Five stars for me ... show more

These Oakley Heliostat sunglasses deliver the high quality you’d expect—comfortable fit, sharp clarity, and great UV protection. They stay put even during active use and feel very lightweight on the face. The style is sleek and modern, suitable for everyday wear or sports. The included eyewear kit is a nice bonus and makes maintenance easy. I’m giving 4 stars only because the case in the bundle could be a bit sturdier.     • Good, but price too high IMO
I'm torn on these because of the price. I feel like over half the price is only because of the name brand. They are well made, like you would expect from this brand, but the materials still somehow feel cheap. Quality is good, but think price is too high.
