IT WORKS!! I have searched for 15 years and tried what feels like hundreds of creams, lotions and ointments - including prescriptions from numerous dermatologists - to find something that would help my husband's hands. Every winter, and even on rare occasions in the summer (I guess because of air conditioning) my husband's fingers and thumbs split open. It is very painful for him. I have used this for several years, and it is the best hand cream out there. I would like to mention that it does not 'feel' great on your hands after you put it on, as it has paraffin in it, (the reason it WORKS!) , therefore I only use it at night. I have found that using it only at night, it does the best job, as it stays on your hands and gets a chance to work. I tried wearing it during the day, but found it didn't stay on long enough to do any good, as I seem to be working with water and washing hands too much. Just using it once at night still makes my hands much softer than any other lotion or cream I have tried, day or night. I recommend it to everyone I know! ... show more

I think O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream is the best hand and skin product in the world. I have been using O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream for over fifteen years. I have had problems with dry skin especially my hands and lips all of my life. I have tried a great many products. I also use O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream for my dry chapped lips. It works great for me on my lips. Recently I started using O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream on my finger nails. I have had dry, brittle fingernails that were always splitting and breaking off for most of my life. Now my finger nails are longer than they have ever been. It really hurts with a fingernail breaks off down into the quick = OUCHY~!~!~! This is my go-to hand cream for cracked, dry hands! If you have cuts on the sides of your nails due to either dryness or wearing gloves, or if you have hang nails, you should buy this stuff! I used to work construction and wore the leather work gloves which sucks moisture out of your hands, and I gave this stuff a try and now it's all I buy even to this day! It heals cracked, dry hands in a week if you use it every day! And you don't need to use a lot either! A little goes a long way!
