Let me preface my review by mentioning I am a repeat buyer of certain O'keeffe products- overnight treatment hand cream, unscented lip balm, and the cooling lip balm. With the changing season, I was excited to try this new "Seal & Heal" lip balm. I have been using this product regularly for about 2 months now. And it did not do anything for me. The smell/flavor is off putting at first, but that dissolves away shortly after applying. It does not feel moisturizing, rather drying. It does not absorb nicely. It leaves an uncomfortable and unpleasant waxy feeling on the lips. It does not sit nicely under other lip products. I have noticed that my lipstick moves around with this lip balm underneath. This stuff made my lips nice and soft within a few days! It’s not sticky or waxy like some brands are. I do have to say I’m not a fan of the taste! It’s just not my favorite! Just needs some lemon or berry flavor to drown out the medicinal flavor!! But I still love it for how soft it makes my lips! I’m 70yo so I have dry skin & lips! So buy it!! I don’t have to reapply after I put on in morning, till the evening. Yes, it is a different formula, but I personally like it. It is a smoother , creamier formulation. To me , there is not much taste to it at all. It soothes my lips and keeps them hydrated half the day. With the cold weather lately, my lips need all the help they can get. ... show more

The formula for this lip balm has changed. I can’t find it anywhere anymore. I ordered this even though the packaging was different. But the product/formulation has changed too. It smells cheap and harsh and dries my lips out more. The old formula could heal my chapped lips I. Just a couple days. This new formula is garbage. ... show more

surprised by this one since I love the SPF 35 lip balm so much! the taste/smell of this one is really distracting, plus it feels sticky/drying on my lips and makes me want to reapply frequently, which is never the case for the SPF 35 version. I'll be calling the number on the wrapping to see if they'll replace with a better product. ... show more
