The white color is more of a light gray. The back has strong grip. The material itself has a bit of a texture so your mouse isn’t sliding as easily compared to cloth mousepads.

I work from home and have been using this mouse pad every day. After just 2 months, the fabric is starting to separate from the rubber pad causing a "bubbling" effect that is getting worse. I usually don't bother writing reviews, even if I'm not happy with a product, but I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase. I feel like it was designed to hold up just long enough for the return window to close.

It's an adequately functional desk mat, grips the desk nicely and has a moderate amount of friction with PTFE skates. The XXL size is large enough for a full size keyboard and a decent amount of mouse space if you use a low sensitivity. The white color shows dirt and grime quickly so I find myself needing to wash it quite often. I am not sure if it is a result of the washing but the fabric has started to separate from the rubber base, which I am disappointed with as I have not had this mat for very long. I saw another review with this problem so I don't believe it's a one-off issue with my unit.
