I love this shade, it's a warm brick red perfect if you're a true autumn color season girl like me!!! the applicator works wonderfully as well LONGEVITY It lasts long enough if you don't eat exaggeratedly greasy foods, I attended a dinner party with this lipstick on and it lasted until I came home, I tried EVERYTHING on the menu, and still, the lipstick was intact, but of course, I did not eat chicharron or anything like that, lol FEELING It feels a little bit dry but not overly drying like some other matte lipsticks out there (yes Maybelline, I'm talking about you), also it does not feel heavy or leathery.

I'm usually very iffy on pinkish shades, they are usually just too light and bright for me. I'm so glad I took a chance on this, it's such a sweet and complimentary color. It felt great, not drying, and I had zero transfer issues while eating. It lasted for most of the day. I will be repurchasing.

The tube I received did not have a plastic seal and seemed used. It had an unpleasant smell. I contacted Amazon and received a refund. I bought the same product at a department store and I love it! Lip liner helps it stay in place and prevents feathering. It does need occasional touch ups as it fades a bit, making the lip liner stand out (no thank you 1990s), but the color is bright and fun! I'm not sure how it looks if you have darker skin tones. I have very fair skin with reddish blonde hair and have struggled to find a red lip shade that works for me. After reading an article about red lipsticks, I saw this shade might be a good match. The color does indeed work well, especially if your skin tones are cool and look better with silver rather than gold jewelry. I recommend this product, but make sure it is wrapped in a hard plastic coating with a perforated tab to open the bottle.

I wanted lip cream that is not shiny, but that looks natural and has a natural nude-like color. This is the closest I've ever found to my natural lip color, that can hide discolorations and even out the color, with a very slightly but still very natural-looking pink tint. I am East Asian for reference, with closer to an average lighter-skinned South East Asian skintone (I am actually half southern Chinese and half southern Japanese/Okinawan), so I am not that pale, but not tanned either, and have bit of yellow undertone (Sephora's "best skin ever" concealer color is 12Y). The first pic (with the hat) is with just the Athena color lip cream and lightly-applied concealer. The second pic (without hat) is with the Athena color lip cream in gradient with a redder lipstick on the inner lips and full face of heavier-applied concealer. I like that it dries fast, so I don't have to wait long to apply another coat or other lip stuff on top. But it does smudge still, not as much as average lipstick, but it will such as if you drink with a straw, there will be a little smudging, but less than average. It does not last me a full day, but it is easy to apply and lasts at least for some hours, which is enough for most shorter outings. You should bring it with you if you go somewhere, if you want to reapply it to last longer. I also like that, despite that it dries fast after applying, it isn't drying to the lip skin. It balances my lip moisture level to whatever it was when I applied it. In the first pic with the hat, I did put a little bit of medicated lip balm under it before putting on the lip cream. I don't wear makeup much in general, so it's unlikely I will run out any time soon, but if I do, I will buy this again for sure. I hope it will still be for sale by then.

I have heard all the hype about these lip glosses and liquid lipstick. This was my first liquid lipstick from NYX. First , the color didnt look anything like the swatch when ordering. It didnt stay on very long at all. It could have been the order itself because it was awefully dry to be a brand new liquid lipstick. I mean it felt like it had been used several times. I usually am excited to get one of these products from this line. I also got the gloss to go with it and it seemed like it didnt have a lot in it also. So im going to give it three stars. I liked how it glides on. It was a color that didnโt flatter me,but it was a nice color.

So, my sweetie requested a red lip since I usually rock a nude one. I figured he wanted to see a classic true red, so I decided on this one. The price was a huge factor since I didn't want to spend a lot on a shade I wasn't going to wear often. To that end, I wasn't too picky with the particulars that are usually considered when I buy a lippie. But, I was pleasantly surprised! The color is highly pigmented and super bold, it's not drying at all, and as a matte lippie, doesn't crack when I smile. I can't say its ultra moisturizing, as in, it doesn't feel like it adds moisture. However, it doesn't suck every drop of it out of my lips either. It's just kind of neutral, which works for me. It's not thick and creamy, kind of thin/watery feeling when you put it on. This is neither bad nor good to me. Just something to note. It lasts forever, too. As with most NYX products, the formula is great, but there just doesn't seem to be a lot of it in the tube. I wouldn't mind a few more in different shades.
