Good color dupe for Rare Beauty Lip Oil in Delight. I was looking for a rare beauty lip oil in delight dupe. I would go through one about every two months so at $12 a month I was looking for something cheaper. I tried the nyx fat lip before and that was too thick so I kept going back to rare beauty. This one is a little thicker than the rare beauty but nowhere near as thick as the nyx fat lip, consistency is somewhere between the rare beauty and the fat lip but its not too sticky. The color is great. The stain is slightly more opaque than the rare beauty but I dont mind for the price. I think worth it at around 10 bucks. I'm pretty tan, not very dark but my lips always seem a little pale so at full application the color looks a little strong for me but still matches my skin tone and once worn off the stain is a perfect. ... show more

I really like the formula of this lip stain. It goes on smooth, feels hydrating, and gives a nice glossy finish without being too sticky. It last a really long time too! The only thing to note is the shade. “Red-y Set Wet” looks more like a true red online, but on me it pulls more pink than expected. It’s still a pretty color, just not the classic red I was going for. Overall, great product if you like a comfortable, glossy stain, just keep in mind the color may not be as red as it appears. ... show more

I rarely write makeup reviews but this is a great product. I never get compliments from strangers and I got one the first time I wore it. It looked great on and I loved the soft but still noticeable shade left behind hours later, plus the color didn’t crack or look flakey. My only tip is make sure to gently roll the tube and swirl the wand first because some pigment may settle in the bottom. I am extremely pale with cool undertones and this wasn’t too dark on me. I’m also not a big makeup person but the applicator made it easy to “stay within the lines” haha. So glad I didn’t spend more than double this for a similar product. ... show more

Pros Beautiful glossy finish that leaves behind a flattering stain as it wears off. Comfortable and lightweight on the lips without feeling sticky. Hydrating formula keeps lips feeling soft throughout the day. Color is easy to build and looks natural yet vibrant. Long-lasting stain means fewer touch-ups compared to regular glosses. Great for everyday wear and easy to apply on the go. Cons If it sits unused for a while, the formula can separate a bit and may need a quick shake or mix before applying. Overall I loved this lip stain. It gives a gorgeous glossy look at first and then fades into a pretty, long-lasting tint. The formula feels comfortable, the color wears beautifully, and it has quickly become one of my favorite lip products. The product is good and I like it a lot. Moisturizing, leaves a nice color after. Not terribly long lasting but you only need to retouch once or twice during the day. BUT, the colors are not as shown. I've ordered two now that are just a shade / tone off from what is in the picture. One was a dramatic difference - the drippin' rose is definitely more of a reddish brown. Regardless, all of the colors are one color while wet, fading to about the same tint when dry. I got *Espresso Soak*. I can't stand it when reviews don't specify the exact item being detailed! Anyway, I absolutely love this stuff. It starts off glossy and wet like a regular lip gloss. As a mom with young little ones that I'm constantly smooching all over, that's not always ideal, but you can wipe it off after a few minutes and you'll just have a stain that stays for hours. Smells fantastic and delicious. Don't need extra hydration unless maybe your lips are super dry, but I always exfoliate with baking soda and water and wipe my mouth dry, or at least rub my lips with water a couple times and dry them before applying. Stays glossy and vibrant for a long time if you don't wipe it off right away, and leaves behind a stain as it wears off, which lasts hours and hours. I have other stains including Wonderskin, but this one is my absolute favorite. Wonderskins (and others like it) require a little more careful application and maintenance in order to get results that don't look messy, and you have to wipe off that crazy purple layer. This, you can literally apply it like a lip gloss and just leave it or wipe it and you're good for hours unless you want to keep it looking glossy, which will require reapplication. If you just leave it on without wiping, it moisturizes all day long. This stuff is amazing! And super affordable! Absolutely 100% worth it ... show more

Love nyx, they make great lippies! This is just another example of that. Tint is beautiful, hydrating on lips, stain lasts a while and only a little comes off when I eat or drink. Got in the shade mocha me wet. I’ll probably buy more of these soon! Except $12 is a lot for a stain imo……
