Very comfortable robe! I purchased this to use as a Halloween costume (I was the Other Father from Coraline), but I am excited just to use it at home. Feels pretty hefty and is very soft. The seam quality held up to a night of halloween shenanigans (i.e. a fantastic dance rendition of Boney M.'s hit song: Rasputin) and seems like it will last a long time! I bought this bathrobe because in the Northeastern U.S., especially in the New England area, winters can still feel a bit chilly even with heating. I have a habit of taking showers before going to bed, but after showering I usually like to relax, maybe play some games, and I don’t want to put my daytime clothes back on and get them dirty. That’s why this bathrobe has been so important for me. It keeps me warm, gives me coverage around the dorm, and the hood is especially useful for protecting my damp hair from catching a chill. The waist tie design also keeps it secure and comfortable to wear. The only downside, however, is the material—it’s almost too absorbent. This means that when I wash it in the school’s washing machines, the built-in spin-dry function often can’t properly remove the water. As a result, the robe becomes extremely heavy and soaking wet, and I have to struggle just to lift it into the dryer. Since the dryers at my school charge based on time, I end up spending extra coins just to get it fully dry. While it does its job well in terms of warmth and comfort, this issue with drying is definitely something to keep in mind. ... show more

This robe is absolutely amazing this is perfect for the winter the belt loops is great and makes it tight enough to your liking. The softness is a must have makes me feel like I have a blanket on me. And there’s pockets too incase you need to store your phone in there. The weight is very light not heavy at all very nice and lightweight. Your able to do your regular thinks it’s very stretchy too and great. And it’s very true to size so it won’t be like you wear it and it shrinks it’s very good and nice.
